Well, we have a lot going on this week in some very subtle ways, and some not so. So, it should be an interesting week filled with…

Well, there is a Full Moon on Monday, so that is a big deal. Full Moons will bring all the cards on the table and everything out in the open. This is a Scorpio Full Moon, so everything that has been hiding and secret, and anything underhanded, or some type of secret endeavor could come out in the open and be very interestingly exposed.

Also, Mercury is changing Signs. [It] did change signs this morning at 8:14 AM. So, Mercury is the tell all. Mercury is the talker, the thinker. It went into Taurus. Taurus is a kind of slower sign. As far as its nature. it is not that high, forward, aggressive nature of Aries. It is slow plotting. So, it is likely to think before it speaks, which is a good thing.

It will be tackling the Taurus planets. The Sun is in Taurus, and Uranus is in Taurus. So that will be interesting when those things come up later on.

For today, Mercury is just beginning its trek. The first thing it will do will be opposed by the Moon tomorrow, tomorrow evening at 5:15 PM.

Moon opposite Mercury. So that is after the Moon changes signs.

We have a Libra Moon sign today, up until 3:58 PM. That Libra Moon sign is bumping around with a quincunx. That is life's messy. Clean it up. That is what I call a quincunx. It is 150° (degrees), and it causes mishaps or missteps in some way. It is like your goal is to get to the door, but your coat catches the bag of potato chips on the coffee table and sprays it all over the living room. You have to stop and clean that up before you can walk out the door. So it is that kind of kooky stuff going on. Then the Moon, it does that quincunx. Well, it is like right now. Well, I did not dump the potato chips on the floor.

But the next thing that will happen will be 1:30 we have the Moon quincunx Saturn. So, this is a clue that you need some type of approval. Maybe you need to explain yourself, or something like that.

Then the Moon travels void of course, after 1:30 PM until 3:58 PM.

Then the Moon enters the sign of Scorpio. This is the best Moon sign of the week. Scorpio is rather intense and deep. There can be a lot of things that are not so much on the up and up. You have to research and manipulate to be able to get things the way you want. But the end result for this particular Scorpio Moon is a good thing. So that is on Sunday.

Happy Mother's Day tomorrow with the Scorpio Moon. You might have the opportunity to have a deeper, more personal conversation with your mother. Or somebody else's mother. Or maybe you are the mother. You have something to talk about that is more meaningful. It is it is a shy Moon sign where it does not want to just jump in and make changes or anything. It just wants to perhaps discuss or duck the obvious.

The Moon during today's Scorpio Moon sign, it definitely brings the opportunity to have deeper conversations, more meaningful conversations, if you are visiting with friends.

For tomorrow on Sunday, that Moon is making a quincunx to Venus. The Sun is in the sign that Venus rules. So, the Moon is pushing the fact. So about what are you going to do? How are you going to do it? So, you want to perhaps make a good plan and try and stick to it.

There is a squabble on Mother's Day at 1:38 PM. The Moon is going to square Mars. So that is a disagreement. Make your plan after that, Do not be getting together and having lunch early. Make it a late lunch, or maybe something that is a little less intimate than a restaurant table. Maybe take a walk, maybe a picnic, that sort of thing that would be nice.

Mars and Uranus are coupled up in an aspect that they join together in force. They are likely to be stirring up something very interesting for the day. There could be interesting thoughts. Uranus is about friendship and about groups of people. Mars is about actions, maybe perpetrated on the groups of people. You want to be careful. I would stay away from crowds, you know? Yeah, I would stay away from crowds with that kind of aspect.

Uranus is really kind of the target planet as we go through the week, because next Saturday, the Sun will conjunct Uranus. So, everything is sort of leading up to the eye opener there of Sun Uranus.

But before that, this week we have on Monday. We have Mother's Day Full Moon. Mother's day's Full Moon is on Monday. Mother's Day is on Sunday. the Full Moon is at 12:55 PM. It is at 22° of Scorpio.

So, there was a Lunar Eclipse on May 2022, that might be linked to the surrounding events of this May 12th. So, [I] do not know what that might mean to you. You might investigate. Scorpio Moon is all about investigation and research. So, it is a fun time to dig deeper into subjects.

Mercury is part of that Full Moon picture when it is square Pluto. So, Mercury square Pluto is about, thinking about things in a deeper way. Pluto is sort of obstructing the view. So, you may want to… and Pluto's the ruler of Scorpio. So maybe the pressure is that, watch out, I rule this sign.

Scorpio is definitely about uncovering all the matters that are going on. The matters tend to be more complicated when the Moon is in Scorpio. Research may be important to your eventual success. Though investigations are never complete. You have to go on and on and on. A lot of good things can happen during a Scorpio Moon. Your research is thorough enough for success. So do get into it.

It is a good time to get rid of things that have worn out their usefulness. Clean house and throw out any duplicates. Or anything just worn out, get rid of it.

That would be also the Scorpio Moon running all the way through Monday into the wee hours of Tuesday.

The last aspect of the Scorpio Moon is the one that brings favor to this Moon sign. That is Moon trine Saturn. So, Saturn is at the 29th degree of Pisces. So, Saturn has a lot to say about how things play out. The results of, the authority figure, the last word kind of thing.

Then, from 2:36 AM Tuesday morning, till 4:34 AM the Moon enters the sign of Sagittarius. This one might be complicated. Sagittarius really likes to run free, do its own thing, be its own voice, its own thinker. But at the end of the sign it has to answer to Saturn as well. That would be a square to Saturn. This one is very pointed, because Saturn, at that 29th degree of Pisces, is really putting its foot down. So be mindful about how you advance your goals. You do not want to have to go back and scrub the floor again or something. Heaven knows what.

We have for Wednesday coming in on Wednesday, we still have a Sagittarius Moon sign. The Moon is trine Mars, which is moving forward with the energy level. You may feel like getting up earlier.

The Sun is parallel Mars. There is a lot of Mars energy. On Wednesday, Mars is about get up and go, move forward, join with others. So, this could be some type of demonstration or some type of activity that involves making a plan for progress.

Then we have for Thursday, May 15^th, the Sun and the Moon are quincunx. That is life's messy, clean it up. That would be Thursday at early in the morning, 5:48 in the morning. So, it is probably before you get up. But that may be the cat tosses the vase off the off the table and makes a crash or something like that. You have to jump out of bed see what is going on. Clean that up.

Jupiter on Thursday is making a square to the Lunar Node. The Lunar Node is the coming and going of people in your life. It is also a health axis, and so it is in the sign of North Nodes in Pisces, South Node in Virgo. Definitely speaks to things about one's health or the health of larger organizations. Jupiter would be expanding your knowledge.

Then Sagittarius Moon moves on, on Thursday for its last aspect, at 2:28 PM, when it is square Saturn. So that one puts the stop on the forward happy type of actions that Sagittarius likes to take advantage of. So, the Sagittarius Moon is then void of course from 2:28 PM until 3:57 PM when the Moon goes into the sign of Capricorn. That is on Thursday.

The Capricorn Moon sign, it has complications, because the Sun and Uranus are involved. That will toss things up. Capricorn is all about Saturn, which is about structure and limits and father issues and plans that need to be anchored and not left willy nilly for some fly-by-night idea. The Capricorn Moon wants support from Saturn. In this in this case, the Capricorn Moon is supportive in the end of things. But during the Capricorn Moon, you have to deal with that Sun and Uranus energy, which is real, high energy. Exciting, interesting, tossing old plans out. So, anything that this Capricorn Moon is trying to nail down, Sun and Uranus are saying, I do not think so.

So that Sun and Uranus energy carries right through next weekend as well. We will start feeling that Sun Uranus energy earlier, say, perhaps Thursday. Even I think Wednesday afternoon, we will feel the Sun and/in Uranus when the Sun is actually lined up with Mars. Mars is a big player with this Uranus energy as well. So, Uranus is crazy, wacky. It is also about friendship and great ideas. The genius. It will be very interesting to watch. That is it for the week.

Saturday, we see a Leo Moon, which started at 7:30 this morning. So, if that is when you got up, you might have something to show for your efforts today. It is a showy Moon sign. It wants to display your talents or your wares, whatever you have. Maybe it is something in your mind. Maybe it is something you want to tell or say. It is the sign of the actor, the performer.

Mars and Jupiter are players today. That gives a fighting spirit to this Leo Moon sign. There is a strong moral and ethical cause that could also be part of this Leo Moon sign. It is overconfidence and overexcitement. What you have to be careful of is a lack of moderation. So, if you are out and about and feel inclined to pick up this and buy it, you may regret it later. At the end of the sign, the Moon is not in good shape because it will be in a quincunx with Saturn. That is a funny name. That is that 150° (degree) angle that says life's messy, clean it up. So, the Moon quincunx Saturn says there is something that you need to be accountable for. You have to explain yourself. So that may not be something that you want to plan on.

Later on, tonight, the Moon joins up with Mars. So, it makes it argumentative and aggressive.

Then we go into Sunday morning, and a big deal is going on. There is a First Quarter Moon in Leo. It is at a sensitive degree where the world hears all about it. It taps into what is called the World Axis, because it is right in the middle of the sign of Leo. Pluto is standing by and standing still. It turns retrograde tomorrow at 11:27 AM.

So, Pluto is retrograde. Well, it may be setting off things like your greatest fears. Maybe you are afraid of falling down the stairs when you go down the stairs? Or maybe you are afraid of a mouse? Or, heaven knows what. Perhaps you are afraid of confrontation. Whatever it is, it stirs up that fear. I am not saying you will attract those things, but that fear may be something that addresses those issues. So, Pluto retrograde will be with us until October 13, 2025, and it behaves differently. It might soften its demeanor.

Retrograde Pluto behaves differently because it is usually a power monger. While it is in Aquarius until 2043, we can see how it will transform. It is the sign of the people, the voice of the people. People in this generation have the ability to make scientific breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity and may be forced to change the way science is viewed.

We might notice that while Pluto is retrograde, it may diffuse some of the people's power. But I wouldn't count it out because there are some big deals going on in the summer, in the middle of July, that can pump that right back up again, such as Uranus’ sign change into Gemini on July 7, 2025. That gives a strong voice to the Aquarius factors as Uranus rules Aquarius.

That Leo Moon is with us all through the rest of Sunday and into Monday, and on Monday until 3:39 PM when the Moon will enter Virgo.

You must address some topics during the void of course Moon, which would be between 12:23 PM on Monday and 3:39 PM. There are some questions, and you might find some answers. There is something that you can take away from all of the problems that are set out, laid out during the Leo Moon. Because Mercury and Jupiter form a nice 60° (degree) aspect, which is called a sextile, and allows for smart assessment and good judgment. That would be exact at 1:21 PM on Monday. But it has an influence over the whole day and the rest of the day.

Now, Mercury is the ruler of Virgo. That is where the Moon goes at 3:39 PM on Monday. It will be there until early Thursday morning.

The Virgo Moon has a lot of 150° quincunxes to Neptune, Venus, and Pluto beginning at 6:00 PM. That is going to be an arrangement that will be interesting to watch, right through until 11:00 on Monday night. So, there could be a lot of adjustments made to your thinking or your actions.

Virgo Moon is pretty much about getting the everyday operations up and running. The activities that become second nature with the Virgo Moon. Virgo lends itself to tasks that are repetitive and mindless. So, taking on brand-new things might add challenges. It does add to the ability to discriminate and look for subtle differences. These differences can be overemphasized and can cause discrimination issues in general. Sexual attractions are likely to be very intriguing and forbidden fruit. Like, during the office with the boss, that sort of thing.

Tuesday, we have that Virgo Moon. It sees an aspect between the Sun and Neptune. This can be slightly confusing in the morning on Tuesday, so you want to get past that. It could be artistic as well.

Venus and Pluto are also making contact. That is 5:31 PM. So, this Venus is sort of applying for some say in the types of power that Pluto has over investments. But Pluto is retrograde, so it kind of has its hands tied behind its back. So, there is a lot of discussion about markets and investments. That may be the topics on the close of the stock market maybe on Tuesday.

Wednesday, the Virgo Moon is still with us. The Sun and Moon are trine. That is lovely. The Moon is pumped up by Jupiter in a square. This has to do with information and expansion. Maybe the topic says, No, not right now, shut it down. But emotions are running high because the Moon is tied up with the Lunar Node, and that makes the Moon look bigger in the evening sky, the Moon may look bigger than ever. So that will be interesting to see. the Moon finishes off with the Virgo Moon opposite Saturn. That brings a shutdown or closing-down action early Thursday morning.

Then, at 3:06 AM, the Moon's sign changed. The Moon enters Libra, and it will also remain in Libra throughout Thursday and Friday. The Libra Moon sees an aspect between Mercury and Uranus, which brings some interesting topics. They are saying, "Look over here. See this."

Use your powers of discrimination to pick up information that could be useful, maybe for your relationships, where the Moon is in the sign of relationships, Libra. But during its trek in Libra, it opposes Venus and may cut short any gentle qualities of Venus while in Aries. This is not a good place for Venus, because it makes Venus aggressive and more likely to seek independence and not long-term bonding. The interest is short. This could cause a relationship to start and then be dropped quickly.

The Libra Moon continues through Thursday and overnight into Friday. On Friday, Venus is in an aspect with the Lunar Node, making Venus more powerful and stand out better.

The Moon and the Sun are in a 150° aspect at 6:43 PM. That means that life's messy; clean it up. But it could also mean that you are on a road trip and you have to stop because they want to get a big boulder off the road, or clear a roadblock of some type.  

The Sun is in Taurus. It could be about food. Maybe you must stop because you are hungry and want to make things nice with those you are keeping company.

That Libra Moon travels right over into next Saturday for part of the day. Okay, that is it for the week.

Hi. This is Dietrech Pessin with the astrology report for the week ahead, April 26th through May 3rd. We have a very big, powerful aspect today during the Aries Moon. It is a big deal with Mars at 180° (degrees) away from Pluto. This creates extreme pressure that could attract various high action types, such as unwanted attention.

Mars gains magnetism in Leo, so it is very bravado and a showy sign. Pluto in Aquarius forces the issues that are on the surface to be dealt with, possibly authoritatively.

So, this is a tough aspect to navigate in personal relationships. So, if you are with someone, have a lot of patience. Both parties ought to be aware that there is this intense energy that could make it very difficult to create a harmonious setting. So, it has a lot of power. Best to take a breath before taking any action. Walk away whenever you can. It does promote great confidence to a fault. So that adds to the high energies. You want to look for a healthy way to approach problems. Use your most savvy skills to gain the edge on complicated matters, too.

The Aries Moon allows for quick thinking and can add to the aggressiveness of this aspect. It is exactly 9:05 PM tonight, Saturday night. That is when this aspect will begin to pull apart. It has been around for a while. We have been under the influence of this aspect all this past week. We had it before last October, and then we had several instances with this Mars and Pluto energy. Mars had gone retrograde in Leo. So, this is a very sensitive spot that it is tiptoeing over. I do not think tiptoeing is the right description for what Mars is experiencing or making us experience during this transit. So, get through it tonight.

Then, into tomorrow, we have a better position coming from the window of the Taurus Moon sign, bringing the Green Light this week. It is softer. It is food first; that is a more peaceful, more agreeable energy.

There is a New Moon in Taurus as well. That is at 3:31 PM on Sunday. It is at almost 8° of Taurus. It is beautiful because the Moon's last aspect for the Taurus Moon is a lovely 60° aspect to Venus. So, this can bring peace to a stressful situation and soothe any situation with some lovely food and company. Taurus is always food first. You can expect that energy to run through Monday as well.

The Taurus Moon is comfortable. It can be lazy and hard to motivate. Its focus is money and acquisition. So, it is like, What can I buy? What can I bring home? The spending thing increases, because Venus is going to go into Aries during this upcoming week, which tends to lend to spendthrift energy.

The noisiest part of the Taurus Moon will be on Monday at 8:33 PM when the Moon is conjunct Uranus. So, we will feel that an hour or two ahead of that time. It will dissipate as we get later into the evening.

But that Taurus Moon ends beautifully with a sextile to Venus. That is on Tuesday, early morning, 1:17 AM. That’s the Green Light Moon sign this week.

Then it is free-floating until the Moon enters Gemini. I did not say it was void-of -course. Because the Moon is never void of course when it is in the sign of Taurus; it is exalted in that sign. So, it can do anything it wants.

The Moon reaches Gemini at 2:34 AM Tuesday, we will have that Gemini Moon Tuesday, Wednesday, and into Thursday early morning.

Don’t sign during the Gemini Moon sign, as it seems to show a dead end because it is square to Saturn at the end of the sign. Disagreements go nowhere, so do not get into them. Let the other person have the power in the disagreement. Do not challenge. Contracts tend to fail or leave much to be desired.  Plans can be all talk and no action; there is also much to be desired. So, you want to be careful about what you promise and what you get into during that Gemini Moon sign starting April 29th at 2:34 AM in the morning. It will run right through Wednesday and into Thursday at 3:22 AM.

Then the Gemini Moon sign will go into Cancer. So, during the Gemini Moon sign, and here comes Venus into Aries. 1:15 PM Venus goes into Aries on April 30th. It will be there until June 6th. So, if you are pursuing a partner, you may find you are striving for your freedom once you are in an intimate relationship. Do not jump into things too quickly. You are likely to be more of a spendthrift during Venus and Aries. The soft, feminine side of Venus is less obvious, and you want to just take care about how you look. How is your hair? How are your party clothes? You are not disheveled, are you? So that can be the traits for Venus in Aries as it tends to be doing things way too quickly to care about personal details.  The things that one might feel one should be sensitive about.

Thursday, we have the Cancer Moon coming in 3:22 AM and it is there also on Friday and into early on Saturday. it brings the softer energies, although powerful designs about family members. Cancer is all about the family. So, it is very serious about how that is treated and how the family is treated.

The Sun and the Moon are sextile, which is a really nice aspect. On May 1st, the Moon and the Sun are in their most harmonious relationship during this Cancer Moon sign.

Friday night's Cancer Moon sign brings a very lovely family night. So that is something positive to look forward to.

There is an aspect during the Cancer Moon sign with Venus and Neptune. They join together. They are both in Aries. So, what usually would be dreamy, romantic, and artistic may be filled with a lot of illusions about what you want and what you get. So, what you get may not always be what you want, or what you should want. So, there is a lot of disillusionment. Be mindful of what looks like it is too sweet, too promising, too lovely.

If you are buying something or furnishing your new living room, I would advise you to be careful about the types of purchases that you want to bring home.

The Cancer Moon is with us through Friday night, making it very nice to cozy up with family. It will also be with us into early next Saturday. And so that is it for the week.
