Hi, this is Dietrech with the astrology report for the week ahead. It is a very cold week here. We have high winds and minus degrees. Minus, like minus 10. It is ridiculously cold. We are kind of hoping that something finds a way to warm up.
Mars is the planet of warming up, although it is going into, the cold hard sign of business; Capricorn on Monday. The big news will be at the end of the week when Venus turns direct on the 29th. So that is next Saturday. That is a good thing to look forward to. It will turn direct in the sign of Capricorn. It too is all business. So, not warm and fuzzy at all, the way you might expect Venus to be.
So, for today we have a Virgo Moon. You might benefit from some hard work today. But do not count on competent help. Be grateful and patient. But save your resources for another helper, on another day.
Wednesday is the pick of the week for business or any other serious goals if you want to go shopping however expect to spend a lot of money. But it is more. It is going to be Scorpio’s business: death, sex and taxes are all of what Scorpio is about.
For most of Saturday, it is kind of easygoing. The Moon will change signs. The Moon will be void of course before that at 2:47 in the afternoon here on Saturday, January 22nd. It will be void of course until 5:02 PM. That is when the Moon enters the sign of Libra for a couple of days.
The evening looks friendlier with this Libra Moon. But it is not a good sign to contract in any way. As Mars will drop all of the interests that it has in Sagittarius things when it goes into that business sign of Capricorn Monday morning. So, the fling was good for a while, while it lasted. But it is not likely to continue.
The Libra Moon that we see on Sunday feels like Mercury Retrograde has been retrograde for a long, long time. It really does feel like that. Mercury went retrograde when that volcano went off in Tongo. So that shows you the power of a Mercury Retrograde when square to Uranus. So, it is nothing to fool around with. Mercury Retrograde is very often about redo, renew, review. Making it great for doing things second time around. I is about anything , where you have had to think long and hard, is also a time Mercury Retrograde is really good for. The kinds of things that you have let go, let pass, did not do, left undone. Now you can catch up. I love that element of Mercury Retrograde.
And you can also find lost objects, especially with Venus retrograde as well. Like maybe you have lost a ring or necklace or a lover or something Venus-like. You can find lost those lost objects during this retrograde period where the two of them are both retrograde at the same time.
So, we have on Sunday at 5:27 AM the Sun and Mercury joined together for a conjunction. This marks the halfway point of this retrograde Mercury. You can see appointments are canceled, missed opportunities, and all sorts of breakdowns in communication. This type of aspect between the Sun and Mercury often means an important statement is being made. Someone has something to say that has meaning. So, keep your ears open.
Then Mercury and Venus. They joined together for a really positive long-lasting aspect. It is a parallel. This will benefit relationships whether they are personal or whether they are about global affairs between countries. Anything having to do with how people get along with one another. What they agree to and how they understand one another. With the Libra Moon as a host, romantic introductions might be in store too. There is a drawback because both Mercury and Venus are retrograde. Which means not good for your selections. Like your choices are not well thought out. Something is wrong. Something is wrong with your perceptions.
Then also, Mars will change the whole picture when it leaves the sign of Sagittarius and goes into the sign of Capricorn. That is under the Libra sign at 7:52 AM on Monday that happens. So that means that the male energy, the dominant energy of the couple leaves. It was nice while it lasted, but it is not going to last that long.
Then Mars and Saturn come in 3:47 PM Sunday. This aspect is a difficult 145°. It can be an aspect of great frustration and dissatisfaction. It may lead to anger. But it also can deliver results when applying a very focused effort. It can be present when there are disgruntled workers. So, you want to be mindful of what they are packing in their gym bags.
The rules matter under this aspect. There is an irritation or aggressive behavior that could meet with authority figures. Getting nabbed for speeding is one example of that. The physical stress of the muscles and bones is something you should watch out for. Teeth also biting down too hard, too fast. You could break a tooth. Annoyances with things. People that are hot and cold, on and off. Relationships that are serious in nature come to a temporary impasse or a separation in ways. You might feel you are being restrained or held back without fully understanding why you could be let go, fired, whatever. And you do not know why.
It is a signal. Very low resistance or illness. So be careful about being susceptible to the virus near this aspect. That would be all day Saturday today, and tomorrow, and even Monday. So, one of the things that you could do with this is getting a massage. Dissolve your resistance and surrender to a greater power to succeed.
Then on Monday, Mars travels into the sign of Capricorn. That will be until March 6th, when it then will enter Aquarius. While in Capricorn it is time to pursue your personal desires in a responsible and methodical manner.
You have strong ambitions. There may be a domineering threat that is present during this Mars in Capricorn. Because it is headed for Pluto eventually, not until March 3rd. But the message is there that I am coming to get you. So, watch out for that.
Pluto and Juno draw join up for a conjunction. This makes for very odd bedfellows. Mates are selected for resources and status, and not for love at all. That is under the Libra Moon, January 24th, Monday 11:54 AM.
Then the Moon goes on to square these two later on in the day. So, if you are presenting somebody as a business partner that did not work out well and ends poorly when the Moon is square to both of those Pluto and Juno.
So, then we have a Void of Course Moon from 5:09 PM with the Moon in Libra. Until the Moon enters Scorpio at 10:56 PM on Monday.
On Tuesday there is the Last Quarter Moon at 8:41 AM at 5º 33’ Scorpio.
It is the last installment of the Moon Family that began two and a quarter years ago on 28/Oct/2019 with the New Moon at 04° 25 Scorpio. This was the seed stage and new beginnings for this Moon Family.
The First Quarter Moon occurred on 27/Jul/2020 at 04° Scorpio 56. This is when you were actively involved in the process of moving forward with your plans.
A Full Moon occurred on 27/Apr/2021 at 07° Scorpio 6. Everything was out in the open and all the cards were on the table.
This week there is the Last Quarter Moon on 25/Jan/2022 at 05° Scorpio 33. This is a time when you reap the rewards of your efforts. You collect your earnings from the things that were begun at the New Moon phase, October 28, 2019. You can expect to get paid or pay up whichever is most appropriate.

When we have a Scorpio Moon this week, this one is intense but better. But we have to wait until Mercury enters Capricorn for the better part. That will be on Tuesday at 10:04 PM. From that point, there is a Green Light until Thursday at 12:27 AM. So before then, you have to look out for the fact that something gets dropped. You do not want to put all your eggs in this Scorpio basket at all until you find out what is going on.
Mercury is in aspect with Mars, which looks like the books do not actually add up. So, someone may be hired to investigate.
Then the Sun is 30° behind Jupiter as it sees the breadcrumbs left in the trail. There are questions that will need to be answered once the Sun catches up. Then there will be the change of signs for Mercury Tuesday at 10:04 PM. When this happens Mercury will go back into Capricorn to get the business end of things back on track. It remains there until February 14th in the sign of Capricorn. Although Mercury will be direct on February 3rd. So, this is a good time to redo contracts and restructure deals. Also try to reapply for important long-term contracts, such as mortgages after this aspect.
There is a Green Light during the Scorpio Moon, which begins at 10:40 PM Tuesday night and runs until 12:47 AM on Thursday overnight. Write a will, read a will, whatever you would have to do that is related to death, sex and taxes. That is what Scorpio is all about.
Then on Wednesday all day is an excellent day to advance your goals. Move forward. The Sun is 45° behind Neptune. Says a little bit of confusion there with that one. You may be blindsided when hit by something or for accepting a deal or a plan you did not really want. So be careful about buying any wooden nickels there. That is early on Wednesday. You want to find lost objects and resubmit your applications. Also, during the Scorpio Moon excellent aspects there between the Moon and Venus and the Moon and Mercury.
Then the Sun and the Moon are in a very positive parallel, bringing you the help you need from professionals. So, whatever it is you want to do, have a lawyer look over what you are doing. If you are applying for important long-term loans or whatever you are doing, use a professional. Scorpio Moons are not meant for lightweights. So even going to the doctor, take somebody with you. Or ask if you can record the session or something. I do not know what you do in that case, because you cannot really bring people in with COVID these days. But you do want to get a professional opinion on things.
The Scorpio Moon is void of course after a wonderful 60° aspect to Mercury. That occurs at 12:27 AM Thursday morning. It is void of course until 2:34 AM.
Then the Moon enters that happy sign of Sagittarius, which is playful. It does have a lot of things it needs to sort out; so it is busy. But what it is doing is wishing and hoping and dreaming for Venus to turn direct. That will be next Saturday. In the meanwhile, during the Sagittarius Moon, it looks as if this Mercury and Saturn will join together to outline the perimeters of maybe your trips or your educational plans.
This also may be a good time to remember what your grandma or your grandpa told you. Some very useful information from elders.
Friday, January 28th. Remember, your losses are a very painful way to start the day on Friday morning. If that is the way you are waking up remembering your losses, try to start the day differently. Use gratitude as a new igniter of your day on Friday. Because that Chiron square Vesta only focuses on things that are just heavy and difficult.
Chiron is in Aries, and Vesta is in the sign of Capricorn. So, there is some business things that are left unfinished.
The Moon holds on to Sagittarius and it is stored to hear what Mercury and Pluto have to say. There is quite a saga there Friday night. So, whoever you are out with or wherever you go, you might hear some interesting tales and stories.
You also could be found, where Mercury traces its tracks to search for lost business deals. Or a great love who may be known to have a sizable age difference, or sizable financial package That could definitely be of interest to you later. That is, it is for the week.
