Hi this is Dietrech with the astrology report for the week ahead. Happy Christmas weekend!

We have a really good day today. If you need to go out shopping, last-minute shopping, it is an excellent day. Anything you come up with is going to be a winner. There are very pleasing aspects for what you need. price wise I think you will find things on sale that you like, if that is what you are doing. If you are shopping for Hanukkah, same thing. It is a good day for Hanukkah party. Also, that would be on Saturday. 

If you have relatives that you have not seen in a while or even friends that you have not seen in a while, this would be a really good time to connect. 

The week goes on with a couple of Moon signs. We start out with the Capricorn Moon today and tomorrow. The Aquarius Moon comes in. Actually, the Aquarius Moon will come in at 2:14 AM on Christmas Day morning. The Aquarius Moon is with us Monday then Tuesday. Then the Pisces Moon will come in on Tuesday morning at 2:34 AM. We will be enjoying that Pisces Moon until Thursday at 5:36 AM. That is when Mercury turns retrograde. Mercury will actually turn retrograde under the Pisces Moon at 4:32 AM on Thursday, the 29th of December. On the same day as a Second Quarter Moon. It looks like there is a lot of things about government that is involved with this Mercury Retrograde. Mercury Retrograde will continue until January 18th. 

So as far as today goes, we have a Mercury Neptune aspect. That is looking for some peace of mind and a quiet space. It is very creative, and it is musical. If you want to enjoy something both musical and creative, it is a really good aspect for thinking in an open way. It is also whimsical. Some things are off color and fun. But do not believe all you hear and read because of the fact that there is a combination effect with Mercury and Neptune. which very often is not the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So, you should double check before taking everything to heart. It is a time for this Mercury Neptune aspect at 8:16 PM tonight for a little peace and quiet and soulful reflection as well. 

But I do not want to overlook the beautiful aspects that the Moon and Venus make. First thing it did this morning at 7:15 AM. Then the Sun went on to parallel Venus at 8:05 AM. So, it is such a caring and lovely combination. There could also be a chance for someone to come to the rescue in an unfortunate matter. So, with the Capricorn Moon, you can expect money to be at the root of most issues. And also, about family and government as well. 

The Moon is void of course after a conjunction with Pluto at 10:10 PM Saturday night, tonight. It will continue to be void of course until 2:13 AM. So that is not too hard to take. I would not buy anything during that Void of Course Moon under the sign of Capricorn. You definitely would have to take things back during a void course Moon there. 

The Aquarius Moon comes in on Christmas Day 2:13 AM. That will continue right through until the Moon enters Pisces on Tuesday, December 27th at 2:33 AM. 

But the Aquarius Moon has a couple of interesting things. it is the sign of friendship. Like-minded people get together or connect or find their way to join in like-minded activities. You would be happy to hang out with others. Also, there is a chance that you could reconnect with friends that you have been separated from for a long time. 

That Aquarius Moon on Sunday has nothing holding it back. So more of what is like the New Moon energy happens with the Sun and the Moon when they join in a parallel at 1:40 PM, where people come together for a positive interaction on Christmas Day. 

Monday, the Aquarius Moon continues in Aquarius. You may be surrounded by friends and intellectual people that may be your preference as well. Also, Monday has no hindering or difficult aspects right through until the end. You might have short term solutions for long term problems. So do not invest in something if you are expecting a long-term solution, but a good short-term solution. That is because of the Moon and Uranus making its final aspect to 2:18 AM Tuesday morning. 

Then we have the Pisces Moon. It comes in 2:33 AM Tuesday. It will continue right through until the Aries Moon comes in at 5:35 AM on Thursday, just after Mercury turns retrograde. But having Mercury Retrograde under a Pisces Moon says something is not on the up and up. Or a lot of things are not on the up and up. But you may actually have some type of decision or interaction with others that is beneficial to you being able to maybe break habits or break a money problem habit.  Like gambling. Or there could be something about addiction with that Pisces Moon that could also be a good thing to restart and reset and be put on a new path. 

We have a nice aspect at 12:23 PM when the Sun and the Moon are sextile. that is 60°. There are friends that can be very helpful during that time during the Pisces Moon. There could be something about an option or opportunity to gain access with someone who has lots of money. That is because of Venus and Pluto that are parallel on Tuesday evening. Tuesday evening after that looks like it is in good shape. You can find some peace and harmony in there. 

The Pisces Moon stays with us on Wednesday. Venus and Neptune are sextile, which is very dreamy, and romantic. Also, it goes on to partner and pair with someone. But I would not bank on that new budding relationship being anything that will stay around. Because of the fact that Mercury is about to turn retrograde and it will drop everything if you continue on that path. Things get dropped. things that you do not know about the significant other person. They may find out something about you that they were not happy with either. 

So, on Thursday morning, there is Mercury retrograde at 4:31 AM. It will be so until January 18 2023. It is coupled with Mars Retrograde and Uranus retrograde which will turn direct on the 22nd of January. This pretty much wipes out any smooth rides for January, until January 23rd when you can start to bank on better days. 

That Mercury Retrograde is the last thing that happens during the Pisces Moon. Then we have an Aries Moon, Thursday, December 29th at 5:35 AM. That Aries Moon has a couple of things going on. Venus and Mercury are joined together. I always love that aspect. You find your voice. You are able to connect with loved ones and friends. Also, people that have been shut in. If you want to visit people in a hospital, or in a nursing home. This is a wonderful aspect for visits. 

But Mercury and Mars. I'm sorry, it is Venus and Mars at 11:15 AM are in a squabble. That is not a nice aspect. It puts people on edge too. So not a good dating type of aspect. Venus and Mars are in a conflict. They are not on the same page. Venus is in a business sign of Capricorn and family. Also, Mars is in that chatty sign of Gemini, where it is flighty and flaky. It is retrograde. It is up to no good. It is also out of bounds, which means you cannot catch it if you try and run after what it is you want. But you know what it is good for is finding things that you have not been able to find before. Gathering a new way to go. Find a new road in the forest. 

There is a quarter Moon 8:20 PM.

That is Sweet Pea you hear in the background. He is my lovely little parrot. 

At 8:20 PM is a First Quarter Moon. That First Quarter Moon is at 8° of Aries. It is attached to a New Moon that occurred on April 1st last year. Well, this year 2022. April 1 2022 When there was a New Moon in Aries. So that was April Fool's Day. I wonder what was funny about that. So, things are still funny. 

This time, the Sun being in Capricorn trying to find what works and how things can get off to a better start. Where you are actively involved in the process of moving forward with your goals. Knowing that Mercury is retrograde. 

Then that Aries Moon continues on Friday, December 30th. That Aries Moon happens upon a Sun and Mars quincunx. Life's messy clean it up. This to me looks like a kick in the backside from running a cost. It could cost you money to chase them down. The color the day could be red if you choose to engage. So, you do not want to do anything about it. Just stay in your own lane and make better use of the rest of the day. The Aries Moon all in all has its challenges ahead of it. It does not end well for business or important decisions as the Moon will square Pluto. And that will be next Saturday.

Well, we have a lot of optimistic energy coming in this week because of the fact that Jupiter is going into Aries. It will be there briefly. Briefly meaning a few months. In May Jupiter makes a change into Taurus, where it will be for the next year. But as it scoots through Aries, there is an aggressive and optimistic energy, and it does not have a lot of patience for finishing things up. But it definitely wants to move along and get things going in a direction, in a forward motion. So, this is a time to sort of start up. Aries energy is startup energy. So, you want to work with that.

We have for today, a Libra Moon. That Libra Moon is headed for a square to Pluto. That would be at 5:35 pm.

But before that today, we do have a couple of aspects that are on the positive side. The best one is the Moon sextile the Sun. That has to do with an opportunity. So, look for an opportunity by pairing with someone, who is both wise and energetic. You have to take action when you see this opportunity. It will not just fall in your lap and give you something. It is not the way Jupiter acts.

But this is the Sun in Sagittarius. we have just a little while left with the Sun in Sagittarius because it will change signs this week. I think that is a happy sign in the way that when it goes into Capricorn for the winter solstice, that is the shortest day of the year. Meaning the light will begin to increase thereafter. So, I like the solstice points.

The solstice points are also a big grab of energy for global events. You hear in a lot of the historically ancient application of headstones. heal stones I think they call them. Like in Stonehenge and in South America, where they mark the point where the solstice point occurs. And when the Sun is there, it stands still. That is what Solstice means. It will stand still for a few days. So, there is a lot of things that can be done and addressed and started in this very dark period, Dark night period. It is dark here, but in the south of the equator, that is the beginning of their light period.

So, we have our Libra Moon today. We have some good energy. High energy action-oriented. Pair with somebody. Have someone help you figure something out that is maybe been a challenge for a long time.

Also, there is a quincunx between the Moon and Jupiter at the end of the Libra sign tonight at 10:16 PM. That would be the beginning of a Void of Course Moon period. That aspect is about probably catching something. Some information that you have been trying to gather and grasp. Maybe there is some understanding, a better understanding that you have towards the events and the challenges in your life. Because Jupiter is at the very tiny last degree of Pisces. It will change signs while the Moon is in Scorpio. That would be on Tuesday, Jupiter will change signs and go into Aries.

So, the Scorpio Moon coming in on Sunday. That would be for Sunday's event. We have that Libra Moon until 10:30 PM on Sunday. Scorpio Moon, that is you may find that things are not, necessarily on the up and up. They are not totally honorable. You may be doing something you should not be doing. So, you might want to clean up your act. It is also time to accomplish tasks that have been very difficult or dark. Maybe stuff in the basement that you want to deal with. Also, things that have been tucked away in secrecy.

If you have trouble, you may need assistance, I always say, when the Moon is in Scorpio, take along a professional. Do not go it alone because it is just too hard to deal with. You do not have the skill the education or the knowledge to be able to see the whole picture in a detached way. It is a very emotional Moon sign. So that Moon sign is with us Sunday night right through Monday.

On Monday, there are a couple of things to note. The Sun making a semi-sextile to Pluto. That may point out some difficult events or topics that you want to address on Monday.

Then we have Venus and Mars at a quincunx. So, it looks like it is about money. So, there is a lot of talk about the financial situation, and what are the plans to correct it. So, it is like two ships that passed in the night. So, if you were meeting somebody that you want to possibly date or get involved with, this could be a signal that says, no. You do not want to do that. It is very short-lived.

Also, this pair makes a contact in another way. That will also indicate very short-lived events between male and female energies, or opposite energies.

The Moon and Mars are in a quincunx. That is that life's messy, clean it up at 7:30 PM on Monday night. So be careful about maybe traveling, traveling on the roads, or trying to get yourself cleaned up and into a better frame of events for Monday night.

For Tuesday, we still have that Scorpio Moon. There is a little Green Light period that comes in. Actually, it is not so little. It is after Jupiter enters Aries at 9:32 AM on Tuesday, there is a Green Light. There is a little bit of a snag at 11:41 AM when the Moon is square Saturn. So, the morning hours could be a little bit difficult for nailing things down.

There is a very sweet spot at 9:37 AM with Venus and Mercury joining up in a long-term event. A parallel that gives them the edge. But this square between the Moon and Saturn could be a little tough to take. It also could be a little bit of a slump. Depressing, but you come right out of it by noon time.

There is a Green Light right through from 11:30, 11:45 until 9:44 PM.

Then the Moon is void of course. Scorpio Void of Course Moon means that things do not turn out the way you expect or that you plan. So, you want to be able to gauge your events for letting things rest. Do not take advantage of anything in the Void of Course Moon period because it will fall apart. nothing will come of it. That is the term used for Void of Course Moon. That is for good things and bad things. If there is something bad that comes up, nothing will come of it during that period 9:44 PM until 2:12 am, Wednesday morning.

So, then we have Wednesday. the Sagittarius Moon comes in then at 2:12 AM. There are several parallels going on with the Moon to the Sun, then Mercury, Then Venus in the early afternoon. That would put everybody on board for the same plan. They are waiting for the big event. That would be the Sun entering into Capricorn for the winter solstice. That is at 4:48 PM. There are usually a lot of celebrations for that. You may want to look around and join any of those lovely celebrations.

There is so much Jupiter energy now. A lot of positive uplifting in involvement and engagement. I felt like the whole gratitude and generous energy has come in earlier than usual. Last year, it was heavy and had a big thump. And now it is uplifting with Jupiter energy.

We have the first thing that the Sun will do is make the square to Jupiter. That is at 7:50 PM on the night of the solstice. So, there is an abundance of uplifting energy.

Squares are a sign that there is a trigger for great growth coming up. So, you can also see that someone tries to block you or cut you off at the corner. Hold on to your temper.

The Moon is opposite Mars at 8:47 PM. Do not get involved in any arguments. Then the Sun is parallel to Mercury. That is a beautiful sign for something that we are talking about Wednesday. That is a beautiful sign that there is something important that comes to you. Maybe there is this is a Sagittarius moment that wants to collect information and have a higher understanding and a greater understanding of things. So, you may finally get the message or be told about something that had been a mystery for a while. Then you are able to clear things up.

The Sagittarius Moon continues Thursday. There is an aspect between Venus and Uranus. This is usually about friendship. This is Friendship maybe involving money in some way. It is early in the morning on Thursday. It is followed by Mercury sextile Juno. Mercury is the thinking planet, the connecting planet. Then Juno is the emotional connection. that the marriage, the link. Well, maybe it is an introduction of some sort that comes in on Thursday. Possibly it is with the Venus, Uranus energy, and then and then the Mercury Juno energy. It is in the morning. So maybe it is some kind of an office party, which is very likely.

Then the Moon continues in Sagittarius to square Neptune. So, there is a blind spot. That is at 3:15 PM. That aspect is also the beginning of a little Green Light period when Jupiter when the Moon in Sagittarius is free floating. Not making any aspect to anything. Normally a void of course period, but it is not void of course when in the sign of Sagittarius. So, this is a time you might want to take advantage of from say 3:16 am to right through the night on Thursday night.

Then the Moon changes signs and it will go into Capricorn at 2:49 AM. This one is all about business and not how you feel, but how you look. And how do you present yourself and what is it that you need? How are you going to ask for that? How are you going to arrange your business matters with your family as well? This is taking care of the head of the household or an older family member.

Chiron is there turning direct on Friday. Chiron is the wounded healer. It also addresses deep psychological issues that might be able to be addressed at this point.

There is a New Moon on Friday. That is at 5:16 AM at one and a half degrees of Capricorn. This New Moon is going to be shining light on things that are being hidden. The quality of the New Moon is to wait for the light of the Moon to shine in a couple more hours or a day or so. You need the light in the Moon to start something. So, people often want to start something when there is a New Moon not realizing that they are very much in the dark. This is about business and money matters. You want to be clear about what you are doing under this Capricorn Moon sign and wait for the light of the Moon.

I do like next Saturday. We have a Green Light period too that will run right through Friday the 23rd to Saturday the 24th. So, you may want to plan ahead for Christmas Eve for that Green Light period that goes right through the night of Christmas Eve. And that is pretty much it for the week.

It is a lazy morning, that is for sure. You can blame Neptune for that, as usual. We have very few aspects throughout the week between the planets. But there are plenty of things to be said, from Venus and Uranus and Mercury and Saturn.

Today Saturday, December 10th, the Moon is in Cancer and the Sun is parallel to Pluto. The Sun is very close to the Solstice point where it will stand still. From about December 16th on for a week or so. Crossing over Christmas, as it goes into the sign of Capricorn.

The Sun parallel Pluto might be about some gripping information or activities perhaps that you want to engage with family members. You could be talking about money, rearranging the money. How about things like wills and estates, and things like that as well.

Mercury and Saturn make an aspect at 10:57 AM. This allows for some rearranging of your thinking. You might be rather distraught in trying to organize your thoughts. Or to make something make sense out of some kind of stressful, tangling. It is like an entanglement that will cover most of the day.

Then Venus is making an aspect to Uranus. This one has to do with friendship and love and money. Venus just entered into the sign of Capricorn. So, it is very much interested in business. How business runs. Something might be very loud because of the aspect it makes to Uranus, while Uranus is 15° of Taurus. That is the very loud degree, as is zero Capricorn.

So, this aspect Venus, and Uranus, this one at 12:20 PM it also governs the day. It has a chance to be able to blast through some things. Maybe they are agreements you have had with partners or ex-partners that you need to put back on the table in some way.

There is an aspect between the Moon and the Sun. It is called a quincunx. Life's messy clean it up I call it. That is at 4:30 PM. So, if you are driving along and all of a sudden you hit a roadblock of some sort, it could take a half an hour before it is cleared. Then the cleanup might be tedious thereafter.

The Cancer Moon is still with us through Sunday. Its last aspect is going to make a very beautiful trine to Jupiter. That would be at 1:48 PM. Making Sunday the nicest day to engage with others and family members and anything that you want to do. Maybe shopping is good.

The Moon sign will come to an end and change at 3:08 PM when the Moon enters the sign of Leo. That Leo Moon will go through Monday and also Tuesday up until very early Wednesday morning.

The Leo Moon on Monday has a nice cooperative aspect between the Sun and Saturn. This is the Saturn in Aquarius. Saturn's direct now. The Sun is in Sagittarius. So, there is some practical energy that you can apply to practical solutions. Maybe there is something that you need approval from others. This would be a good day to approach that.

The Moon will square Uranus late night. That might create a twist in the night. Maybe you want to try to calm down. Calm your perspective. Because it is quirky. It is an aspect. It will not last for that long. It should be finished by 11:15 or so.

The Sun and Moon trine come in with that Leo Moon on Tuesday at 10:51 AM. That is a beautiful aspect that will allow for creative principles to come and take over.

There is for the Leo Moon, the final aspect is Moon parallel Uranus. So, there is a unique perspective and a unique solution to everyday problems. Leo, however, is about the show. If you have a plan to go to a show, this would be Tuesday night would be a very good night to do that.

Then the Virgo Moon comes in after a Void of Course Moon at 3:20 AM. The Moon is void of course in Leo until 3:45 AM. Then the Moon enters Virgo.

The Virgo Moon, it is lazy and dreamy and hard to get going. I mean, this Sun square Neptune comes in at 12:09 PM on Wednesday. We are actually feeling it now. It is an it is an aspect that clouds the brain. It clouds your sense of progress. It is definitely best used in a spiritual fashion. Or for poetry and dance. Just check and correct any of the things that might be seen as problems or frayed edges. Also address matters of alcohol and substance abuse, especially with Wednesday's energy, Sun square Neptune.

The aspect between Venus and Saturn comes in at 2:54 PM. This allows for some straightening up and getting down to some hard work, particularly about organizing your finances.

The Virgo Moon is with us right through Thursday. It is productive. it does have a toss and turn when it comes to the end of Thursday, when Mercury is quincunx Mars. Mars is retrograde right till the 12th of January. Mercury will turn retrograde on the 29th of December. So, we are going to have a real pile up between these two. They might actually be delivering some kind of message about those turns on Thursday night into Friday morning. So, keep your ear to the ground. But do try to get a good night's sleep. tossing and turning may be what you have to manage for Thursday night.

The aspect between the Sun and the Moon is a square. That means there is a Last Quarter Moon square. So, you need to collect. You need to collect things from your past and from your work. Finish up a job. Finish up a task. You might actually find that you get paid. Or that you can pay for something that you have been working on for the past two and a quarter years.

That Quarter Moon takes place at 24° of Virgo. So, it is a it is a work sign and a health sign. So, if you need to change your health practitioner, this might be a good time to do that.

There is a lovely aspect between the planet of authority, the asteroid Pallas Athena. There are also some food changes. There might be diet changes in there for you that are going to be productive. It is hard to do this time of year. But that is an aspect between the Moon and Ceres. This Ceres is about feeding others and supplying the food chain.

So, what we have is a Void of Course Moon with Friday's Virgo Moon. That starts at 12:12 PM. It is really short. It only will go until 2:48 PM, when the Moon enters the sign of Libra.

The Libra Moon will carry with us throughout the weekend, next weekend. It is something we will talk about next week. So normally what we have with the Libra Moon lately is a square to Pluto. So, things are hard to deal with and hard to manage, especially when dealing with others. That is the report for this week.

So have a happy week. Be careful with that Sun square Neptune. That is the headliner for the week. So, confusion and missed opportunities or missed cues. You might even say Oh, I don't mind. Just we will let that slide and then you could regret it later.

The good thing about that aspect is that it will clear the space of this Neptune station, when Neptune turned around earlier. The Sun will then start traveling closer to Neptune. Which gives us some motion and will pull that Neptune out of its spot. Clear up the road for better thinking, better decisions, and also better sleep. You might lose less objects.
