ABOUT VOID OF COURSE MOON TIMES

The void of course Moon periods occur when the Moon’s job is done recording all solar and planetary activity while in that sign. This could mean it waits for a planet to change direction or signs besides regular aspects. After the last cosmic event of any type the Moon is then considered free floating or void of course.

Think of the Moon as the daily time & record keeper for all the events in our solar system including an individual’s actions or reactions to surrounding activity. . The Moon will travel through a sign in about 2.5 days. The Moon’s activity can be read as a script during that particular Moon sign period. When there is additional planetary activity such as when a planet is scheduled to change signs or change direction, the Moon must mind these matters under its watch. When the Moon is void of course your judgment can be off and your attention might be distracted by things other than your intended goal. At times this is a welcomed break and is consider being of no consequence when events occur during this period. During these times your choices may be more creative but for practical matters they may not be as wise in the long run.

The Moon reflects all of the solar planetary activities to the earth and can be methodically described by reading through the aspects and changes of planets during any given Moon sign. The Moon rules our moods which motivate our behaviors which are expressed differently with each Moon sign.
In the case of this week’s Gemini Moon this is the case. There is a dilemma as the Moon feels obliged to hold the door for Uranus as it makes up its mind as to whether he is coming or going. Not until Uranus makes that direct point is the Moon’s job done and it then enters the void of course period at 12:39 PM Tuesday until 1:17 PM.
Also the Leo Moon beginning on Friday December 20 is an example of planet changes which effects the free flow of the Moon. As the Sun will enter Capricorn then Venus will turn retrograde during the Leo Moon on the 21st. Before the Moon can take a break and go void of course it must first deal with a crisis set by a 150º aspect of the Moon and Venus at 12:15 PM Sunday December 22. Therefore the Leo Moon will be void of course from 12:15 PM – 2:19 PM when the Moon enters Virgo Dec 22.
