Hi, this is Dietrech Pessin with the astrology report for the week ahead. There is a lot of big news this week. We are going to have a fabulous New Moon in Virgo, which is setting off the degree where Mercury had turned retrograde on August 23rd. Mercury will turn direct this Friday, coming up on the 15th. So that is good news.
The Sun and Uranus will be in a beautiful trine. That will give us some ingenious ideas about forwarding our goals. And living with the intent of creating a new and creative space that would be helpful for a happy future and connecting with friends. So, there is there is some really good energy around this week.
Today, Saturday, September 9, 2023, the Moon is in Cancer. The Cancer Moon is basically traveling around. Making a nice beautiful connection with Jupiter and the Sun. That allows us to enjoy our plans for our family. The whole day seems to be focused on a family day when the Sun and Mercury come together in a parallel later on tonight. That will allow us to have some nice long-term nice events, and visits with family that do last for the long term. So that is a nice link between the Sun and retrograde Mercury. It will soon be turning direct later this week.
Mercury is parallel to Pallas Athena indicating a counselor or therapist of some sort that you can connect with to allow you to effectively sort through your needs and to advance any of the problem-solving that you would like to affect. For what could be problems in the home, problems in the body, or problems with the family. So, there are some nice connections to be made.
The last thing that the Moon will do while it is in Cancer is oppose Pluto. So, this is something heavy and deep. Has a separating type of cause that Pluto is famous for. It is the toll keeper. As with the Moon in Cancer is asking you to pay up and also pay attention to family members that have needed your help. Maybe you were too busy at the time. But they come back around again and say, Come on back. I need your help now before you move on to something new. Like when the Moon goes into Leo. That would be on Sunday at 12:35 p.m.
That Moon opposite Pluto is at 8:47 AM Sunday morning. Leaving some space between that event and the Moon sign change at 12:35 p.m. The Moon is never considered void of course in its own sign of Cancer. So, if you wanted to take advantage of that period between 8:47 AM and 12:35 PM to advance your goals in some way. That might be a nice little stretch for you to be able to see things through, for the kinds of things that you would like to take advantage of. In regard to Cancer like things, which are business and money, and family.
The Leo Moon likes to make a big show of things. But it is tricked into believing that the plans are all set. After what might be a wild weather event. We are talking Sunday or a wild disruption of some other sort. The show might be postponed. So, keep a backup plan in mind for your events and activities on Sunday.
Monday We have still a Leo Moon. The last thing that the Leo Moon will do is quincunx Pluto. That is a hook. That is Pluto being that control freak and boss of things all over again, all through that Leo Moon sign.
The Moon does align with Venus on Monday. Very nicely at 3:31 pm. If you wanted to take advantage of that is some type of money thing, or friendship thing or love thing. That would be your little Green Light to be able to take advantage of that very nice aspect.
We are in the Dark of the Moon as we head into the sign of Virgo. But there is enough of a Green Light on September 11th Monday to take advantage of that Moon conjunct Pluto. I would say probably until about 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
Then there is some prying open of the past, of which you want to unlock the cause of an old wound. This is the Sun quincunx Chiron. Chiron is the wounded healer. So, the Sun is shining the light on something in a sort of unrelated way. Like maybe you bump into somebody from the past. It opens up an old wound in some way. You may intend to process the hurt and help another person in the process.
So, there is also the chance to take care of a lonely critter or babysit a little one for a very short period of time. That scene with Mercury and Ceres. Ceres is the caregiver, and caretaker. It could also mean that you are looking in on someone who is been shut away for a while.
That Leo Moon stays with us over on Tuesday, as well. The Moon will square Uranus Tuesday at 11:05 a.m. So, if you are planning something before that, be careful about becoming too invested. Because Uranus can pull it right apart, and you will have to start from square one all over again.
Then the Moon continues in Leo to quincunx Neptune, and then quincunx Pluto. So that is kind of a big deal, with a big trap. If you are planning a barbecue with friends, that quincunx looks as if you might come up short of the added guests that may be expected. Or maybe there are no guests.
The Moon enters Virgo on Wednesday. That is at 1:17, 1:18 am. That Virgo Moon lets us get ready for some big cleanup and cleanup events that will come along our way.
The Sun gives us lots of energy early on Wednesday morning when it is making an aspect to Mars. Be careful about getting into a heated conversation early in the morning. Try and let things roll off your back during that Virgo Moon.
Muscles. You want to stretch before you do anything particularly physical with the Sun and Mars in aspect as well. The Moon is conjunct with Mercury. Mercury is sending its last little messages in while it is still retrograde.
Vesta is the investor. So, property values could increase a little bit when Vesta enters Cancer on Wednesday evening until December 20th. The focus is on the home and the family and care of children and others who are not able to be left alone. Vesta can also have added changes to matters of Homeland Security. Your own home security, and home security system sales could increase with Vesta into Cancer. This goes from now until December 20th.
Then Vesta returns to Gemini again. we will have a couple of different purposes for that investor.
Thursday The Moon is still in Virgo. That is approaching the Dark of the Moon Because the New Moon occurs on Thursday at 9:39 pm. This New Moon is exciting. It is reminded by Mercury that parked here on August 23rd when it turned retrograde this past summer. On that day Japan announced it would be releasing treated wastewater from the Fukushima disaster. So, I wonder what new things might come up as a result of that? Maybe there will be something. A clearer image or clear message already about that.
That New Moon is at 22° (degrees) of Virgo. That is where Mercury had turned retrograde on August 23rd. So, this is a pretty important New Moon. The Virgo Moon then is happy on Friday to get the approval from Pluto at the end of its travel.
But one more aspect of the Virgo Moon is a split parallel with Neptune. This can call attention to the strangeness of times. Workloads can be overwhelmed with dust and mold, which gives that Mercury Direct station a tall order to clean up as it turns direct on Friday at 4:20 pm.
The Virgo Sun after that is brilliantly trine to Uranus at 9:23 pm. That is a very nice aspect for the Sun to experience after Mercury is retrograde. Then turns direct on Friday afternoon. Mercury has much to say about the process of all that has transpired over the past three weeks. There is likely to be a lot of announcements and statements. So, the Virgo Moon trine Uranus has some unusual qualities that we will see as a result of that. And that is it for the week.
