For those attending astrology classes at my house please note that we now meet every Wednesday night.

Last Saturday (September 3) we were hit with a combination of the two things - Victor was out sick, and a football game bounced us off the air. So we will be back on the air on WZBC next week.
The astrological activity for the week shows a busy Saturday on some levels with a Scorpio Moon changing to the sign of Sagittarius at 5:03 pm. There is a void of course Moon at 3:41 pm until 5:03 pm. The last aspect of the Scorpio Moon is square to Neptune, which has to do with blind spots. It will bring the inability to see around corners. A lot of mishaps or almost mishaps, could be likely with that kind of energy. Also making purchases with that aspect says that there are many things you are not going to be aware of. Things could be way too expensive and there could be problems and failures along the way.
The Sagittarius Moon comes in with terrific energy. It gives us a green light. The last aspect of the Sagittarius Moon is a really positive one, when it is sextile to Neptune on Monday at 8:30 pm, beginning the void of course Moon period until 10:03 pm on Monday. But from Saturday, September 3rd until that time on Monday September 5 we have a green light - meaning that you can move forward. There is a positive uplifting type of energy with this Sagittarius Moon. There is a first quarter Moon as well at 1:39 pm on Sunday the 4th of September. It occurs at 11 degrees of Sagittarius. This means there was a new Moon there 9 months ago at 11 degrees of Sagittarius. This Moon sign encourages us to move forward and to look out beyond anything that might have limited you before. Perhaps you’ll be happier doing something physical, getting outside. It’s a good time to work hard at a first quarter Moon – not a time to relax, because there is so much high action energy filled in this particular Moon sign. There is a competitive edge with a thrust to do something you once felt you couldn’t accomplish. So, it is full speed ahead with an eye open for possible obstacles. Try to imagine an outcome, how things will look in 9 months when there will be a full Moon near the same spot in the sign of Sagittarius. Try not to invest more than your interest is worth, because there is a tendency for over optimism with the sign of Sagittarius combined with the first quarter Moon. Both of those things bring about a type of over optimism, and you want to see that you are not over extending yourself. On the other hand, the energy is good for filing petitions or starting classes. If you are working in the arts, you may want to begin working on a new project or gathering the types of materials that you need. It could also be a great time to start writing a book – especially with this Sagittarius energy. Or perhaps if you’ve written one, you might want to try putting your feelers out during this Sagittarius Moon for an agent or publisher. Even though it is a holiday weekend you can send email, and your timing will be marked as being very good if you send an email during the green light time that we have with this Sagittarius Moon. Sunday night there are no aspects to hinder your progress.

For Monday the 5th, on Labor Day, there is an aspect between the Sun and Juno. Juno is the symbolic wife of Jupiter. She has a lot to do with decorating and fixing up and making things look excellent, so it is a nice day for that type of activity. At 1:43 pm someone may be noted to be honored for some reason. Then, Mercury and Jupiter form a parallel at 7:57 pm. This aspect has to do with reaching outside your normal realms of communication or avenues, or typical places you may go or have links to others, and this opens doors. It also opens your mind and it opens an avenue for education as well. Trips are very much indicated with the Sagittarius Moon together with a Moon-Mercury-Jupiter aspect. The parallel indicates a long term positive connection. So you are likely to meet people that you are going to enjoy having in your life for a long time. Then a void of course Moon begins at 8:30 pm on Monday night, continuing until 10:03 pm, when the Moon changes signs.

This particular Moon sign of Capricorn is not so positive. There are difficulties brewing related to the Moon opposite Mars which does not actually occur until Wednesday afternoon at 4:35 pm, but it governs the entire energy for the Capricorn Moon period. There are no major aspects that appear on Tuesday, so many things may feel free flowing. The Sun and the Moon will make a beautiful trine very early Wednesday morning at 12:07 am. That’s a nice aspect to be sleeping with; at least this part of the country on the east coast will be sleeping at 12:07 am, hopefully. A little bit of a coming together with Venus and Chiron occurs at 3:17 pm on Wednesday. This aspect has to do with the temporary ability to reconnect to an old wound regarding love or perhaps a friendship. This aspect may also encourage sexual activity. For some, squabbles may develop during the Capricorn Moon with a focus on money or business. Mayer there are broad differences of opinion about how to manage things: how to run a business, how to run the family, how to get to work. The pressure is on to get a job. This Capricorn Moon sign is not a good time for signing papers or agreeing to anything. Avoid final decisions for Tuesday and most of the business hours on Wednesday.

There is a void of course Moon from 4:35 pm until the Moon enters Aquarius - and that’s not until 5:42 am on Thursday morning. As far as Wednesday night goes, I would say it probably is a little lighter energy than what has been before. Maybe it is time to cool off and back off and let people contemplate. Have them comeback into the circle of communication later.

Beginning Thursday September 8th, the Moon enters Aquarius, but conditions don’t fully improve until Friday. Things turn out better and you’ll see positive results if you wait to initiate things until after Friday’s Mercury event - when Mercury enters the sign of Virgo. But before that a couple of things happen. Mercury is opposite Neptune, and Mercury is at the very last degree of Leo. While it is opposite Neptune you forget things, you loose things, you leave things out. You could be loosing your papers you could be loosing your mind. Could feel like you are loosing your mind and your communications may be misinterpreted. Someone may be lying to you. You may think someone is lying to you when they are not. You could have a misconception of a lot of things where the smallest details are allusive in many, many ways. You miss the mark, the train could derail. That aspect occurs exactly at 11:25 am, but it will govern most of what we feel for Thursday morning, and a good part of Thursday afternoon. Then there is an aspect between Jupiter and Ceres at 5:04 pm. Ceres is the dwarf planet and she rules supplies and food and caretaking of family members and children, and Jupiter is at a 45 degree aspect to Ceres. They are very comfortable with one another, Jupiter and Ceres. They help each other out - when they are in this aspect they are not being very helpful. So this means that there may be blocks or limits in the way of what you imagine that you need, or how you think you need to get it. The doors may be open or not, and there may be shortages of supplies. Jupiter is retrograde as well, and so is Ceres. Jupiter is in the sign of Taurus and Ceres is in the sign of Pisces – both of them retrograde. So both of them are functioning at a loss or disadvantage. Later on in the evening on Thursday the Sun and Saturn form a 30 degree aspect. The Sun is behind Saturn, so the Sun has some information about difficulties in regard to any administration, or to those in charge, or the father figures, or the health of fathers and the health of people who are infirmed. Also anything having to do with the knees or the skin. Then Venus and Saturn form an aspect 10:59 pm. This has to do with the temporary joining of possibly financial indicators coming together to put a band-aid on something. Send some relief in - some financial relief in for specific one time type of event. Venus and Saturn also have to do with a difference in age regarding couples. People may temporarily come together. Don’t make any long term commitments based on those unions. During all this time, there is a period called a refranation. Which means there is going to be a planet that changes signs, and that will be at 1:58 am on Friday morning when Mercury enters Virgo. This refers to a grey zone that can be too tricky to handle. You might notice that something gets dropped, something gets lost, someone makes a statement, then changes their mind. You may decide to do something and then change your mind. You may write something and then want to retract it. You may say something and also want to retract that. So be careful about putting anything out there in a real definitive way before Mercury changes signs and enters the sign of Virgo on Friday.
When Mercury does enter Virgo you have a green light. So go ahead and move forward with confidence knowing you have the right information, you’re well organized, you are able to start building a structure and designing things with the proper information. Following that, there is a quincunx between the Moon and the Sun – (that means we are headed for a Full Moon September 12.) The quincunx is at 1:37 pm on Friday. That’s a 150 degree angle - I call it life’s messy - clean it up. Something happens, which causes you to have to stop everything and deal with a mess of some sort. Adjust and get ready to bring things out into the open in a big way when the Full Moon arrives Monday 9/12.

On Friday Mercury and Neptune are in a split parallel aspect. This means there a temporary reconnect with some type of intuitive notion. This could bring a bit of wild weather. The combo of Mercury and Neptune brings high winds and wet weather for Friday afternoon in particular, but it does govern the whole day. Then for Friday evening Mercury and Saturn form at a 45 degree aspect. This is a worry aspect. Expect to think something through very seriously, or you may have a problem sorting things out, and missing important connections. At 7:39 pm this aspect is exact. Saturn is in the sign of Libra and Mercury in its new sign of Virgo. So Mercury definitely wants to organize. Both of them are in very good signs: Mercury rules the sign of Virgo and Saturn is exalted in the sign of Libra, so it can’t be too bad. You still have a green light so keep forging forward – and that goes for Saturday September 10th as well.
There are a couple of aspects, mostly aspects with asteroids and Chiron. The Sun for instance is split parallel with Chiron, which indicates a way to put a band-aid on your bruised ego, or your Achilles heel. There is some wound or some pain, some therapeutic way that helps to treat an issue, particularly a physical issue. Then Uranus has that same aspect split parallel with Juno. Well this is a sudden abrupt change with relationships, with partnerships or with your idea of such things, and also it may involve some type of experiment that rises to the top or reaches up beyond expectation. Mars and Ceres form a beautiful trine at 12:24 pm. This aspect lights a fire under the pot in a good way. This has a positive influence on perhaps finding day care for your children or starting school - anything having to do with finding the supplies that they need, and also for finding caregivers for infirmed or children. Look out for the animals in particular with the aspect at 12:30 in the afternoon when Mercury and Chiron are opposite. This is very difficult, very hard on animals, especially when they are out on the road or you run a collision with them. Perhaps there is a rabid animal out that is causing problems with children. So you want to be very careful of wild animals and also listen very carefully to your own animals. As far as children go, they may have special needs -take notice. The Moon is void of course on Saturday after it’s conjunction with Neptune at 1:31 pm, - until 3:26 pm, when the Moon enters the sign of Pisces, which give us an excellent Moon sign again. Pisces Moon sign ends with a split parallel to Saturn bringing favorable results with a green light during that whole period from Saturday the 10th at 3:26 pm until Tuesday at 2:20 am when the Moon is in the sign of Pisces. So move forward with that time period as well. That’s it for the week.
