With great discriminating cautions Green Light Days begin during the Capricorn Moon sign Tuesday January 28 after 12:04 AM and through 7:20 PM Wednesday when the Moon is parallel Venus. The caution is intended to observe the contacts of the daily directly under the influence of the Grand Cardinal Cross which is more greatly activated when the Moon is in Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. In the case of this week’s Capricorn Moon the exact times when the Moon enters the Cardinal Cross begins:

7:35 PM Tuesday when the Moon is conjunct Pluto in Capricorn.

The Moon is void of course in Capricorn at 7:20 PM Wednesday when the Moon is positively aligned with Venus in a long lasting parallel. This may bring a period of appropriate timing when matters are strategically placed or introduced to further business or the business of family.

The Moon is void at that time Monday through 7:43 AM Tuesday when we begin a Green Light Period.

Green Light period begins at 7:43 AM Tuesday – Thursday at 9:38 AM when moves matters quickly with many complications due to the Moon bumping into the Grand Cardinal Cross on Wednesday when it; opposes Uranus; square Pluto; square Jupiter and Venus then off to conjunct Mars all on Wednesday. Tuesday is not quite as challenging but avoid your final answer if you ca until the Moon catches up with Mars Wednesday night at 10:50 PM. The best Green Light period is from 10:50 PM – 9:58 AM Thursday.
The Libra Moon is void of course from 9:58 AM Thursday until 4:43 PM when the Moon enters Scorpio.

Good morning. There are a few things that we should be reminded of astrologically speaking. One thing is Venus is still retrograde and will continue to be so until the 31st of January, when it turns direct in the afternoon. Venus retrograde period is a time when normally it could be a little more expensive. You could also find something expensive that you love and that you need to have. You could find also that relationships might take more work. A lot of people are finding new partners in their relationships, and those relationships will need to work through a lot of issues. Many times, finding relationships during this time, people are pretty heavily wounded from their past relationships, so have patience with one another.
And the other things that are going on, for right now, is that we have this Pluto and Uranus square that is behind absolutely everything (STOP 33:04). And that tends to mean that everything is far more dramatic than usual. We have great shifts and great changes: things that transform right from the bottom up, like things destroyed by geological events or even by just regular ordinary things are larger than life, larger than ever. A fire turns into a fire of a block, instead of a fire of a house, and something having to do with the transformation in government. There is a need to force some change for government as well, to change.
The retrograde planets at this time are only Venus. When Venus is direct at the end of the month it will be just a short span of time until February 6th before Mercury turns retrograde. And then Mercury will be retrograde turning direct at the end of February. And then March 1st Mars will go retrograde along with Saturn, so that is going to be a very dramatic time: February 28th, March 1st, and March 2nd, right in that period. So it will be very heavy duty. And then Jupiter will turn direct on March 6th. So there is so much drama going on with the planets at this time.
There is the Grand Cardinal Cross with Mars in Libra, Uranus in the sign of Aries. Mars is the action planet. This is the one that rules our drive, and our ability to work, and keep our focus, and move forward. And it also causes battles, and people to be fighting for things that they normally wouldn’t be fighting for, opposite Uranus, which is the planet of sudden abrupt change. And then both are square Pluto and Jupiter. Jupiter is in Cancer and Pluto is in Capricorn. Jupiter has the most to do with expanding conditions in the home, could be actually expansion of home projects or expansion of real estate. People buying /selling, it is held back a bit by being retrograde, but there is still activity there and Venus is also involved in that Grand Cardinal Cross. So it is, like a match, is just enough to set it off and then it all starts rolling. Cardinal signs, which those are, are very, very, very active and get things going like no other.

So for today we do have a Leo Moon. The Leo Moon is normally about things that are happy and fun, but also executive type of decisions or this is after everything has been planned out in the stars, shows up on the stage. These are the plans for the show, and also for any type of project. Say if you were selling something, this would be the time to present those things. Or if you were trying to buy something for future projects as well, this is not really the time to buy things. But all the cards are on the table. We are still under the influence of a Full Moon and that Full Moon has much to do with also family members, and the business of family as well.
The Leo Moon has a couple of things going on. There was an aspect between Mars and Neptune, which early in the morning at 4:55 AM this morning, had a lot to do with a hole in the bucket somewhere. And also things that are procrastinated, indecisiveness contributes to problems. Oil businesses, and energy, waste is also something that is under the influence of that. There is difficulty diagnosing, and fixing problems as well. so if you have a problem in your car or in your house that you need a professional , they may or may not be able to figure it out, and it may cost you a lot of money, because Venus is retrograde to figure out just what is at the bottom of it. It is also about sleepiness, that maybe you might have a hard time getting up. You might still be sleeping.
And then we have the Moon in aspect to the Sun at 5:56 PM. It’s a 150 degree aspect, I call it Life’s messy, clean it up. So there might be something that you need to adjust to right before that time, and it could be something that just stops you in your tracks. And you must deal with it. It is different from what your plan is. it is something outside your regime. It is one of those things like a boulder rolls off the cliff, off the mountain, while you are driving down a road and you have to stop because you can’t get past until a clean up crew comes along and removes it.
7:10 PM the planet Mercury and Pluto are in an aspect. It is a 30 degree aspect. This is about finding information from underground sources, talks with other people. Maybe you talk about someone who passed on, and you find out something that you didn’t know, something that might be useful. If it is a family member, it might be very useful. You could find hidden documents or secret information. Communications with those in a position of power can also lead to something profitable later, but weigh that all out, because this aspect has a lot of growth, a lot of maturity, before it actually really produces anything.
At 8:23 PM the Moon will enter Virgo. So there is a little Void of Course period from 5:56 PM until 8:23 PM. The Virgo Moon will have a Green Light period after the Sun changes signs, because we have the Sun late in the sign of Capricorn entering Aquarius.

So for Sunday, January 19th. My husband Mary White will be performing tonight at the Cantab with two other bands there is four great bands that are there in Central Square, Cambridge Massachusetts. That is where we will be, if you want to chase us down, and hear some good music.
For this Virgo Moon we have a couple of things to watch out for: the Sun and Pluto have an alignment at 5:23 PM on Sunday. So this definitely is the power of those, the force of the power. This is great for the Patriots Game with the Broncos. I will be following that very closely. I love football and I love the Patriots. This aspect has to do with aligning yourself with those in the position of power, or two forces of power that meet and help one another in one way or another. Of course the game is about opposing forces, but something comes along to help someone in a position that, where the star needs to be supported in some way.
At 8:02 PM there is an aspect between Mercury and Jupiter. And that aspect has a lot to do with plans around a trip perhaps. It could be information that leaks out of the blue, surfaces from another source that is last minute breaking news kind of thing. There are unrelated issues that demand your attention. There could be things about people calling out to you, needing to speak to you. So if you don’t want to answer the phone, don’t answer the phone. You could help others with their projects with that aspect, and you may also need to tend to matters that are not directly related to you whatsoever. You may also be called to travel unexpectedly, with an aspect like that as well. Try to keep the focus on what it is you need to keep your day in order, with that aspect.
Then we have a Green Light period that approaches at 10:51 PM. This is a time when the Sun enters the sign of Aquarius: that would be a time for friends to get together, lots of fun. People are joining for like minded matters, and supporting each other for (STOP 49:29) whatever it is that they are doing.
10:51 PM that Green Light will carry through the evening, right through until 3:55 PM on Monday. So that gives a good stretch of time until the Moon makes a 60 degree aspect to Saturn. And that allows for long term good results to whatever project that you are trying to work with, or whatever you are trying to find or get. So take advantage of that nice Green Light period. Not complicated by all of the cardinal square points. So that Void of Course Moon period is from 3:55 PM Monday, right through until 7:43 AM on Tuesday.
And there is an aspect between Mercury and Venus early in the morning on Tuesday. And that may allow you to have a sweet start to your day (STOP 43:27), if they allow you to have also some information about people or siblings that is useful. Or maybe try and get in touch later in the day, might work out really well, when that Libra Moon enters at 7:43 AM. And we have a Libra Moon with a fairly good ending, when it parallels Neptune on Thursday at 9:58 AM. so there is right through there, there is a Green Light. But remember while the Moon is in Libra, it hits all of those Cardinal Cross planets. So there is some difficulty, some bumps in the road that will occur.
First there is a very beautiful trine where things are allowed to happen nicely at 10:40 AM on Tuesday, when the Sun and the Moon are trine. And it is Wednesday that has all the Moon squaring off the cardinal points, that would be Moon opposite Uranus at 1:22 AM Wednesday: sudden abrupt change, things break off, things reverse. Now if you could go to bed early, that would be a good idea. The Moon is square Pluto at 6:53 AM: that is getting in to a power struggle with somebody. Moon square Jupiter: people being boisterous, trying to take charge of a situation they may not actually be in charge of. And then the Moon is square Venus at 1:05 PM, so both of those aspects, Moon square Jupiter at 9:19 and then Venus at 1:05 may not feel so bad. you may feel like partying, that may be something that is kind of contagious. You may want to take others with you to go have a good time. So that might be a fair thing to do. It could cause problems later for some other reason. But for all intensive purposes I think you want to wait until after that aspect has completed at 1:05, make it 1:06 PM on Wednesday to sign any agreements, if you wanted to.
There is an aspect of the Moon conjunct Mars at 10:50 PM: and that one is filled with a bit of conflict. So it is best if you waited until after the aspect is done, then do your signing, turn things in that are agreeable. You could have pretty good investments that you make, or real estate decisions that you make as well.
9:57 AM the Moon reaches its last aspect with a parallel to Neptune: that’s the fog and the confusion. But this one idealizes matters and allows things to move through smoothly, because you convince others that your idealized notions are a good thing. They believe you, they get behind you, and it works out well for that Green Light period. And then there is a Void of Course Moon from 9:58 AM until 4:43 PM, during which time Mercury and Saturn get together to retrieve information and bind it together. It is a supportive thing that allows you to pull yourself together, collect yourself, collect your thoughts, and also connect with reasonable counselors who can help you with problems. That is a very good hire, a counselor, for to help you sort things out kind of thing. Not so much about psychological matters, as it would be for perhaps business matters, or anything having to do with marriage or divorce, something like that.
Then the Moon enters the sign of Scorpio 4:43 PM. It ends badly when it squares Mercury in the sign of Aquarius. So don’t use the Scorpio Moon for anything, other than work alone. Be by yourself as much as you can, and comply. Scorpio Moons, you are often dealing with insurance companies, you are dealing with building departments, and the health department, and various offices that want paper work and signatures and that sort of thing. Try not to sign anything. Gather, come back later, do anything to stall. And that Scorpio Moon also has a Quarter Moon that occurs at 12:19 AM Friday morning that is at 4 degrees of Scorpio. This is related to a Lunar Eclipse that we had last April, so this is kind of a big deal. And it may involve matters where you are reaping the reward of your efforts, or you have to pay a debt from the past, something that seems to have piled up and is chasing you down in some kind of way. Scorpio is also a good time to deal with psychological issues. This is the time to talk with a counselor or work with a therapist: a massage therapist like Linda Clave or any type of body worker that gets the deep tissue work done, that would be a very good thing to do during that time. And Mercury and Venus are parallel during that Scorpio Moon sign that is excellent for communicating in a positive way, framing things in a way. If you are trying to frame a subject for somebody, work on it then, but don’t deliver it until later.
Mercury and Mars have an aspect, as well, 9:56 AM and that is on Friday. This allows you to speed up your communication, open your doors and let people in, or also go to places where you want to find someone that is helpful. Things may appear to move smoothly, but don’t sign anything. At the end of the road Moon is square Mercury, which says that contracts are bad, your agreements are bad, something is dropped or lost and difficult to sort out later, even though that day may seem to run fairly smoothly. Very often this is great for retail sales that retrograde Venus. If you have retail sales business you may find you do very well. People will spend big bucks with a Scorpio Moon and a retrograde Venus, so that will be good for that sign. That’s pretty much it for the week. That Scorpio Moon does run through until 10:12 PM on Saturday night, with a Void of Course Moon starting at 8:54 AM next Saturday, if you want to look ahead, because by the time we get on the air that information is kind of lost. Good morning. Well, we have a couple of big things going on this week. Everything is big with this Venus retrograde. Normally Venus retrograde does not create such enormous havoc, but it has been this time because it is the point where it turns and makes that retrograde station. I always talk about the station day, and where that occurred in the sign of Capricorn at 28 degrees, made a square to 28 degrees of Libra. And that also is a point that is hot because Mars will make a retrograde station there coming up March 1st. that may seem a long time off you, but it is not astrologically speaking. These points remain hot. So Mars being in the sign of Libra - now that is a sign that Venus rules. Venus rules the sign of Libra and Taurus. So Mars being in there is doing things he is not supposed to be doing: aggravating issues, creating difficulties, and challenges and mishaps galore. So everything seems to be you have to do it twice if not three times, and it is costing money hand over fist. It is just a lot of money for a lot of stuff - everything is expensive. And that was the thing that I noticed about Venus retrograde in general, even in the past, that things are way more expensive or the mishaps or whatever happens is costing you money.
The other thing, the good thing about it is that you find these gems in life that you are looking for or maybe you weren’t even looking. And it just comes up, and you say I just got to have that, And that you can bring home and you can probably use that for life. And it may actually cause, where this one is involved, you to change other things around it. For instance, I found a gorgeous rug. I brought it home, I put it in my office, and now I want to redo my office around the rug. So there is that Mars energy in there that says this is going to motivate you, move you to do something. So there are a lot of cool things that could come up from it.
But on personal levels there is also that Mars square Venus stuff that is linked to those two stations. Not only that, they are actually going to square this week on the 16th. Mars and Venus will make an actual square, and I think it is going to be a big deal. And there are other things that are a big deal, like the Full Moon that comes up on Wednesday is also rather a big deal. It has a link to an Eclipse going back to 2009, l believe. Lets see, when was that Eclipse, it was 2009, July of 2009. So then it had a Moon family that began in 2012 that is also linked to it.

So here we go for the week. There are some Green Light days. There is possible one today, now you have to play this one by ear, because this Gemini Moon that we have today is filled with multiple things and multiple directions. You could go this way, you could go that way, you could connect with this person, and then some else calls and says, “Oh, I would rather go out with this other person, instead of the one I just made a plan with.” So you could be dropping things, and be careful because you don’t want to ruin one relationship for another. And you don’t want to have the kinds of things where you are going to be layering things, one on top of the other without consideration. So consideration is moving at a shortage this week.

The Gemini Moon after 4:34 PM today Mercury will enter Aquarius. So that kind of gives us a Green Light when the Moon is headed for a 120 degree trine to Mars. Now this can allow easy access to more than one avenue of your intention. However, there are two catches involved with this Gemini Moon: After that point that many of you will consider is a void of Course Moon period - that would begin tomorrow at 4:33 PM. I say, hold off because there is a couple of things there after - that is the quincunx, Now we know that’s life mess clean it up. That aspect is 150 degrees apart, the Moon from Venus. That happens at 11:59 PM, and that is tomorrow night. That one says that there are matters that come up that are upsetting about money that could eat up the funds that you intended for more practical matters Because Venus is in the sign of practicality, Capricorn. So she wants to put her money toward rent and things that stand the test of time, anything that will help to make ??? Easier, and then that quincunx comes along. It could mean you are out having a good time and you carelessly spend way more money than you had intended. So then it doesn’t end there because the Moon is then quincunx the Sun at 5:38 AM on Monday. So this Gemini Moon is filled with little treasures of cow pies and mishaps and mismatches and that aspect between the Sun and the Moon that would be the one that I would consider, 5:38 AM, that the Moon is actually void of Course in the sign of Gemini. I do find that the quincunx is effective as a last aspect of the Moon. So that being said, the Green Light that we normally would expect is tainted. It is probably instead of green it is a dark pea soup. So go forward at your own risk.
And then we have a Moon sign change when the Moon enters the sign of Cancer at 7:24 PM. But before we go into that day by day, there is a couple of things going on today. One took place early this morning. Venus was sextile Saturn that’s 60 degrees. That is an opportunity to be able to make things better in relationships, and especially relationships that have stood the test of time, and create a solid plan for your relationship based on your history: shared affection, shared values, solid investments, that sort of thing. And that took place way before we got up this morning.

And then again before we got up was Sun conjunct Venus, and this aspect, this is the Venus that is retrograde. So the Sun is aligned with retrograde Venus and that can expose or show these things or even hide them because sometimes a conjunction hides the things that we really need to be prioritizing. And this is about love, money, sweets, rich foods, any type of social endeavor - but these are in Capricorn. So these may have to do with forwarding of your business, forwarding of your goals, that sort of thing. And then the types of things that we have later is the Sun sextile Saturn. This is a positive structural type of aspect. You are likely to find that you cooperate with someone else, maybe a Father figure, maybe just someone in a position of - a seasoned brain, someone who can think things through. And you can also gain some creative recognition, and presentations that you have with that type of aspect go over really well.
And then Mercury enters the sign of Aquarius. So for the next couple of weeks there is some unique ideas that are generated and people of like mindedness get together and percolate their ideas , and perhaps find a way to move forward. And traveling within groups and events of like-minded people, so allow your friends to introduce you to new people too. And you can also find that you are smarter than usual, even though all of this retrograde stuff really brings a lot of forgetfulness.

The Moon entering Cancer at 7:25 PM on Monday. The Cancer Moon is normally a time when you want to stay close to home, nest, and that close to home may mean that you want to keep your associations and your business dealings and your daily interactions with people that are very close: loved ones, insiders. When you are invited to something you can expect it to be an honor because most everyone wants insiders and they would consider you an insider.
Mercury and Neptune form an aspect at 8:09 PM on the 13th. This one could create some fog or rain or snow or anything that has to do with clouding your vision. This is also one that you could possibly, easily get into meditation or yoga, something like that, poetry. The Sun is parallel Mercury. This is very good for kind of channeling information for writing projects or processing details for major decisions, making major announcements. And there is a connection that could be made to key people to consult for the purpose of long term agreements. And you can also expect to be selecting very smart counselors with that aspect as well.

Mercury is square the North Node, South Node. This happens 6:14 AM on the 14th. This is a traffic jam with major impact. It could be a major verbal outburst or faux pas in some way that it leads to problems down the road. So anything that you agree to or talk about, or don’t talk about or don’t take care of causes major problems, inconvenience in a big way down the road. It sort of like a Mercury retrograde day when Mercury is not retrograde. On top of all there is more chaos from Venus retrograde when your wires could be crossed. But you do need to share your ideas with those around you and don’t miss the opportunity to communicate well.

Venus is making a semi-square to Neptune 1:09 PM on January 15th. Now that is the day of the Full Moon, so there is definitely something to be missed here. It could be colorful and imaginative, but there is caution because for one thing, many of your opinions and your taste could change. And there is a vague indication of problems that have deeper roots, articles lost, money vanishes , relationship issues cluster around illusions that were formed in relationship . And you also may find usual foods produce strange effects. Or they could be the usual foods, that maybe you can’t eat wheat, and you eat wheat and it really hurts that day or something.

Then the Full Moon comes at 11:52 PM and it does as I had said have a link back to other dates. So you want to think back not only to that Eclipse I mentioned in 2009, but also there is a New Moon that is the Mother of this Full Moon July 19, 2012 when the seed was planted for the events that are around right now. And then the First Quarter stage said, you were actively involved in the process of getting on with things from that seed stage in July of 2012 - That would be April 2013. And then here we are at the Full Moon stage when all is exposed, everything is out in the open. and there is a clear path to the next stage of development that is finished off by the events of October 2014, Right around the 15th of October. So that Moon family carries a saga with it. and if this Cancer Full Moon hits your chart in stunning way, whether you are a Cancer rising or whether you have a Cancer Sun sign or even a Libra or an Aries Sun sign or Capricorn Sun sign – these things may be speaking to you very, very clearly.

There is, a little Green Light period that occurs on Wednesday the 15th after that Full Moon from the Full Moon at 11:52 PM until 12:32 AM Thursday morning. Just a little bit of time there that you could perhaps make contact maybe with someone who could help you for a one time event. That person might be older or someone that is in charge of matters in someway, just a smart person that you could ask.

Now the Leo Moon, not good. It really has quite a few problems, quite a few snags, even though there are a couple of positive aspects. there is an aspect between Mercury and Pluto 8:09 AM on Thursday and this aspect is about aligning yourself with those in a position of power and possibly gaining entrance to the door, to the office, of the person behind all the works. So it would be the President of the Bank or something like that or someone, the one that you really want to talk with, or the family member that you want to gain access to in a way. But there is a problem because Venus and Mars will square off at 12:12 PM on Thursday - this very important. They are hooked up in this square formation (STOP 48:50) for a while, and for months they are in aspect to one another, which is marking a series of relationship problems that are going on and on and on. So this leads to the story that we will see on January 31st when Venus turns direct and on March 1st when Mars will turn retrograde - and they don’t finish off until May. And then the next thing that happens, we are still talking about Thursday, after that we are still having the Leo Moon that clouds issues in some way.

But on Friday morning, Mercury and Uranus form an aspect at 60 degrees - that is one of opportunity and that allows you to make some connections. So there is a little bit of relief. Things do improve a little bit where you can make changes, also forward things in a fast quick way. But the Moon is opposite Mercury where you could drop things or you could have told someone something that you wish you had held your tongue - That happens at 2:16 AM, so I guess it is those late night conversations that could cause problems later.

Venus and Saturn form a parallel aspect 4:10 PM on Friday. This one says align with those that know what they are talking about, good counsel, maybe counsel that you’ve had before. Perhaps these are things that you could possibly see yourself in a long term relationship whether it be business partner or whether it be personal with the person that you are surrounding yourself with on Friday.
But all in all that Leo Moon doesn’t hold a lot of good promise because of the fact that it just doesn’t end well. And we do have the final aspect between the Moon and another planet - that would be Mars Friday at 9:33 PM. You may get a sign that it is okay to go, but later on there are more things that are playing out that bring the mishap kind of energy again.Asa the Moon will square Saturn Saturday morning at 3:51 AM. We might experience a need to adjust from the mess that way created during the Full Moon when the Sun and the Moon make their 150 degree aspect at the end of the sign of Leo. So that’s the "life's messy clean it up" aspect on next Saturday the 18th.
You might watch out for that expensive tricky love affair and money matters that go awry with that Leo Moon.

So that is it for the week. There are some good spots, there are lots of tricky spots. The Full Moon is going to be tough. We’ve got complications of Mercury square the Nodes. So that one could really create big problems with traffic jams of all sorts, whether it be on the computer or out there on the road or in communication things shut down. But I’m hoping that the Patriots win tonight and I will be at a music gig. I’m hoping to get some football on my phone while I’m there. So I can keep up. I’m a huge fan of the Patriots – for tonight I hope they win. so, Congratulations Patriots!

The Moon brings the "order of the day" and there is no better sign for the Moon then its own sign of Cancer. The Cancer Moon is a nesting time but not reclining. A Green Light to move forward with your goals can be somewhat useful on Saturday and Sunday however it is tainted by the opposition of Sun and Jupiter on Sunday January 5 at 4:11 PM. After that point you can expect better luck with matters that have no particular desire for the outcome other than a positive result that might equal a consolation prize or a lighter penalty. As always with a Pisces Moon you can expect a Pisces Moon to take you to a different place than which you expect through till 2:44 PM Monday January 6.

Begin a new Green Light Period at 2:45 PM Monday January 6 through Wednesday at 2:36 PM when the Moon’s final aspect is contra parallel Neptune. There are a few problems during the Aries Moon sign one of which there may be disagreements; between men and women or bosses and workers or any pair that is best when compromise is necessary; as the Moon approaches its First Quarter on Tuesday night at 10:39 PM. Good morning and Happy New Year! Here we are again, 2014 - that is a very interesting number. The whole year is going to be extremely dynamic. It adds up to a "7" total for number in 2014. So this is one for doing a lot of personal insight, a lot of spiritual growth, keeping the focus on your self in a way that say is more introspective, and takes a look at what is my role in this. How can I change the things that I have finally learned year after year, that those mistakes that I am repeating are not working, and so it is time to make a change. And it is easier to change yourself than someone else.
So what we have here, we are first going to take a look at the week, as we usually do, and then what we are going to do is take a look at the year at 10:00 AM.

So for today we have the Moon in the sign of Pisces, not until 11:58 AM, so we are still under the influence of this Aquarius Moon sign. And the Aquarius Moon is Void of Course now since last night at 8:56 PM. The Aquarius Moon for the rest of the morning is going to be more about friendship, bonding with others, just because of the desire to be friends or connect with friends. After 11:58 AM that Moon goes into Pisces. It will form a nice aspect to Venus on its way out of the sign in a couple of days.
The Pisces Moon sign has a couple of Sun Jupiter aspects, which is going to boost our optimism, and help us to broaden our perspective, and have an expanded awareness of some type of issue or matter. A Pisces Moon is about things like those that are locked away, those that are infirmed, people who can’t get out. So you want to check in on people, make sure that older people have what they need, especially during weather like this. Also it is about substance abuse, driving under the influence. People would be overly competent with a Sun Jupiter aspect that we’re having, and that certainly leads to disaster often. That Pisces Moon sign will also be with us right until Monday afternoon at 2:45 PM.
For the aspects that we have today: Mercury and Neptune are making an aspect at 3:16 PM. So this is a blind spot, confusion, there is distortion of the truth, difficulty diagnosing problems, and there is a lot of intuitive thinking. But you may be off kilter in someway about your thinking. Insider leaks may pop up, and you want to double check everything that you hear before letting other people know what it was. There could be upsetting stories. And what we also want to keep at the back of our minds is that Venus is retrograde, and has been retrograde since the 21st of December, and remains so until the 31st of January. The Sun is making an aspect to Jupiter. For today it will be at 3:36 PM, but it governs the entire day. It is a Contra-parallel, so the enthusiasm and optimistic responses are big, upbeat. It certainly would make for a strong burst of self esteem or some type of expansion of your knowledge. For getting out and being with others it can be more fun that usual.

For Sunday we still have a Pisces Moon. The Sun is opposite Jupiter. This is another over competent type of aspect. Now this opposition is not an ordinary opposition. It sets off that whole Grand Cardinal Cross that we have with the Sun and Pluto and Venus in the sign of Capricorn opposite Jupiter in the sign of Cancer – both of those in alignment are going to square Uranus and Cancer and Mars in Libra. So that means that there could be a greater chance of a social blunder that leads to a big problem. And with Venus retrograde, there could be a big push to a wrong end; lots of pie in the sky ideas. So if you think about doing something, going into some big business idea, it may fall. So that is for Sunday’s aspect of Jupiter for 11:00 PM.

On Monday we have still a Pisces Moon. The Moon’s final aspect is 4:44 AM and it will make a 60 degree aspect to Venus. So that entire Pisces Moon is what I call a Green light which means move forward. But do it with caution, because Venus retrograde, even the smallest task seems to be needed to be done again. Everything seems to fail the first time, and a lot of what you do affects others in relationship. So there are a lot of things that you need to consider, the bigger picture here, how does it affect other people? That Cancer Moon does begin at 2:45 PM on Monday and it will continue right through until 9:24 PM on Wednesday. The Cancer Moon is another Green light period. It ends with an aspect to Neptune. So there is something about it that is not quite clear or you may have false starts or illusions about what it is that you are trying to advance or start up. Cancer is a start up sign, not a finish up sign – you need a Taurus to finish up. But the start up sign, there is something that is loose, a hole in the bucket, or something that you don’t see. So if you were to move forward and advance because of the Green light period, you might do so with considering how the end of this is going to affect you.

And then also what we have is a Quarter Moon. It is a First Quarter Moon 10:39 PM, that is on Tuesday night. And that First Quarter Moon is accompanied by the Mercury and Venus aspect at 5:01 PM. It is a conjunction. And this leads to a lot of nice introductions. There could be appointments that are made that perhaps there were appointments that you wanted long before, couldn’t get in. This is your opportunity to get in. Even though these things happen in the evening, there is an influence throughout the day that will also impact how you get started. It could be a real sweet introduction for a romantic interlude with somebody, but I would hold onto your heart – this is retrograde.
Then the Sun and Moon squares when the Moon is at 17 degrees of Cancer and 46 minutes. This is a Moon family member of a New Moon that began last April 10, 2013. And there was a New Moon of 20 degrees of Cancer that is when the seed was planted for the things that are going on now, that are just sprouting where you are actively involved in the process of getting on with things. This is a big deal Quarter Moon because it is associated with the Full Moon that we have on October 8 2014 and it is a Lunar Eclipse. So whatever is going on now leads to a very big deal in the Fall.

Wednesday we still have a Cancer Moon. That Cancer Moon has a couple of aspects. A big deal after the Moon is Void of Course at 2:36 PM on Wednesday. But just before that at 2:24 PM, the Sun and Neptune are Semi-square. So here is a blind spot, hit on the back of the head for wakeup. What is wrong with you? Why did you do this kind of thing? Also people trying to get away with something don’t necessarily get a way with it, because they too are overlooking the big picture. But it could be creative if you wanted to put your energies into the creative, especially the spark that we get from the Cancer Moon. And then at 9:23 PM that Moon is in Taurus, it starts the sign of Taurus and will be there right until next Saturday At 7:26 AM. And the Taurus Moon is about family, food first, anything having to do with tradition. It also is about bonding with others, things that are real. You are going to be attached to your people, to your materialistic notions. You may want to spend your money – Venus is retrograde remember that. Sometimes you can really find something that you never would have found before. And with that Venus retrograde, I once found a beautiful antique table for next to nothing, that is still have all these years later that is wonderful. So you can find something really beautiful.

On Friday we have a couple of things to note. Mercury and Jupiter form an aspect at 3:32 AM. If that is too early in the morning for you, it does have an influence over Thursday night, the night before. That would mean, that maybe it is a plan to go somewhere, to go take a trip, but it is a short trip. So the Contra-parallel between the pair is about things that you are considering: maybe writing about or studying, something new, short term, like a one day class kind of thing - it is a short term project. And then the Moon is opposite Saturn. Each time that the Moon goes into the sign of Taurus, I look for when that Moon Saturn opposition occurs. It is at 2:07 PM on Friday. After that then your feelings are lifted, you feel like you just got passed a hard thing. It is a Green Light period that whole Taurus Moon. So what you are going to do is make your best plan, take action after 2:07 PM. If you have to sign things be very careful. These things do involve agreements with other people, and relationships are ruled by Venus who is retrograde.
The Moon is never Void of Course while it is in the sign of Taurus. And I follow that rule which was established by William Lily, which he probably learned from who ever taught him. And he was an Astrologer back in the 1600’s. He says that the Moon is never Void of Course in Taurus because of the Seven Weeping Sisters. So if you want to use the last aspect to the Moon it is 5:58 AM to stop all things, but I would not. And then the Taurus Moon ends on Saturday at 7:26 AM and that Moon trine Mercury is also on Saturday morning next week.
So what we have for the week is a lot of activity, especially focused around that Quarter Moon that we have on Tuesday. If you want to get something going – that is a high action day. Something happens so it also can be difficult between people in relationship to one another, because it is going to involve all of those Cardinal Points that are so active now. As we see through the year it is going to be more and more and more difficult to get along with people, a lot of patience. Look at the big picture and see how it is that you are going to handle things in a peaceful loving helpful way. That is it for the week.
