Hi, this is Dietrech, with the astrology report for the week ahead. There will be a lot going on. One of the things is well, let's just mention that the Moon will travel through Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces this week. There is a Last Quarter Moon on Monday, along with Mercury retrograde. This will continue right through until April 25th.
The Mercury Retrograde is aligned with this Last Quarter Moon, which is going to be probably very eventful. So, we look back in history to see what happened when there was a New Moon related to the Last Quarter Moon, which was actually on January 2, 2022.
I found a few things that happened back then that were very interesting to note. For one thing, 4,400 flights were canceled due to Covid. People were stranded all over the world. There was a Colorado fire where nearly 1,000 homes were destroyed. Also, a massive fire broke out in Cape Town spreading to South Africa's Parliament complex. That was right on the heels of Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s funeral. Which was a huge event then.
The writing is on the wall that we should all be mindful of fire in all forms. If you are a smoker, make sure your smoking cigarettes are out safely, and candles are out. I would say do not burn any candles with that Mercury Retrograde coming on Monday, even Sunday night. So, we just want to be mindful of these things.
For March 30th… One thing I want to mention is I missed my friend, Kevin Burke's birthday last week March 25th. And I want to say Happy Birthday to Kevin.
Now the Sagittarius Moon sign, we see the Sun and Venus joining together, very briefly, in what is called a split parallel. With this we could enjoy the support of women and enjoy events together. Or you may just want to go shopping. That is another thing that the Sun and Venus alignment can do is call for spending money. Be careful about your spending because of the fact that Mercury is going to go retrograde on Monday, April 1at and you could regret it.
We have to review what Mercury Retrograde stands for. For one thing, it is decision-making time. It is anything that you want to redo, review, renew, replace, or reassign. Put “re” in front of any verb and you will get a good sense of what Mercury Retrograde stands for.
It is in the sign of Aries, 27° Aries. So, it is fast and quick, hot and fiery and argumentative. We can probably expect things to move very quickly, in what ever way they start. So, whatever seems to be the name of the game for the Aries symbolism, I think you might find that there are a lot of hotspots, where things can be accomplished very quickly. Even though it is a retrograde, you might be trying to make your mind up more quickly. So, you do not want to jump into all that. or jump into anything. delays should be avoided if they have anything to do with limits. but you want to review what the signals are; and what is going on with the quick and fast-acting Aries style.
Use this time to take the initiative to work independently. More than anything I think working independently is a really good practice when we have a Mercury Retrograde in Aries. You can be assertive or even aggressive with that particular Mercury Retrograde. so be mindful of things that could cause you regret later.
Still looking at today's Saturday, we have some low energy right around dinner time 5:28 PM. You could have a short-term loss of appetite and fatigue. Then you might get your energy back for the rest of the night, If you want to do something more playful,
Ceres is a nurturing, caring, dwarf planet that very often accompanies being under the care of a doctor or uncomfortable emotions. It dominates the week where we are going to put our focus on caring for others. All those who depend on you for your care and support are under the canopy of Ceres. Ceres is square to the Lunar Nodes. Meaning there are going to be a lot of opportunities to look after others.
You do not want to neglect your problems. If you have just disturbances of any sort, internal or external, reach out whenever appropriate to try and get some support.
Note that Ceres square the Lunar Node is also about food issues. So be mindful of what you are eating and how you are eating. You could be overeating, making yourself sick when you do not need to. So, Ceres is uncomfortable in this position. The Sagittarius Moon continues on March 31st. That is on Sunday. The Sagittarius Moon, the last thing it is going to do is square Neptune. So, there is a lot of confusion at the end of the sign. It can bring enough confusion to make you lose your way home. So be mindful of that, especially with Mercury Retrograde.
Take care of your licenses and your documents. Things could disappear and you may not have any way of remembering where you saw it last, as well as your purse. So be careful with all of these things.
An enjoyable outing might have some blind spots as well. You should be mindful of that. Maybe being under the influence of someone who does not have your best interest in mind.
For Monday, that is the day when Mercury is going retrograde at 6:14 PM at 27° (degrees) Aries until April 25th. Then when it goes direct, it will be at 15° Aries. That is right in the middle of the sign.
So, the Last Quarter Moon will emphasize and highlight that event. That Last Quarter Moon is in Capricorn. That is at 11:14 PM, and I mentioned the things that had taken place the last time there was a Capricorn Moon family, that started January 2, 2022. Then there was a First Quarter Moon on October 3, 2022. Then July 3, 2023, was the Full Moon that we had last summer. Then this April 2, 2024, we are at that Last Quarter Moon. This is when you reap the rewards of your efforts. You either pay up or get paid. So, something may be profitable because of the Capricorn business sign. But Mercury is retrograde. So, you might have to initiate things in a big way. Go back over and contact and write and call and all that sort of thing.
Mars and Pallas. Pallas Athena is the wise one. The wisest point in the Zodiac. So, this square between the two may say that you are at odds with your advisors. Also, those in high places are having the same problems. Then the last aspect of this Capricorn Moon is sextile to Neptune. But I do not put a lot of Green Light on that. Because of the fact that just before that the Moon is square Mercury Retrograde. So, I do not think that the Capricorn Moon has anything to bank on.
There is an Aquarius Moon that comes in. Well, there is a Void of Course Moon in the middle of the night from 1:40 AM on Wednesday until 5:08 AM on Wednesday. Then the Moon enters Aquarius.
During the Aquarius Moon sign Venus and Neptune are in very strong alignment. They are very romantic and dreamy, artistic and beautiful. With the Aquarius Moon sign, it just may be the perfect time to join with friends. But I will tell you, an Aquarius Moon sign is not great for long-term love relationships. It is friendship all the way. So, invest in friendship, and your plans and events and future events with the people you are with will go a long way.
That Aquarius Moon sign is with us also on Thursday. The Sun is doing something. A big deal. A very big deal. The Sun joins up with the Lunar Node. This is where the eclipses take place at the Node. So, it is kind of like the Sun is signaling that there is an eclipse. There will be on the 8th of April, there will be a Solar Eclipse. So, this might bring things in early, this event with the Sun and the Lunar Node.
So, you will also find that Venus changes signs late at night. That is on Thursday night at 11:59 PM when Venus enters the sign of Aries. Where she wants everything right here right now: love, money, happiness. then after she gets what she wants, she will likely want to move on. She gets very bored with the sign of Aries.
There is a very good Green Light here in the dark night from 12:00 AM until 1:40 AM then the Moon enters Pisces at 7:13 AM.
What it is good for is probably finding those shiny objects that you may want to invest in. But I would be careful about making investments in anything that Venus finds while she is in Aries.
The Moon is making a 60° aspect to Mercury retrograde. That is in the middle of the night there on Friday. It might show you that there is an opportunity to join with friends.
Then right after that, there is a Moon sign change with the Moon entering Pisces. It will be there until next Sunday morning. that is at one… I mean rather 7:12 AM on Friday, until the following Sunday.
The most that goes on during the Pisces Moon is probably Mars and Chiron. They are making contact to find an opportunity to be able to heal an old wound.
Also, the Moon is conjunct Mars early next Saturday morning. So, there is a lot of Martian [Mars] energy with this Pisces Moon sign, which is going to make for some steamy events. That is it for the week.
