This entire week could feel like an up hill battle due to the Sun and Saturn opposition which is not exact until Saturday at 2:28 PM. Take extra care in all areas of life as the results can be hard to deal with and consequences can add up quickly. After the opposition the energy shifts to a more manageable tone but the Full Moon on May 14 is adding more Saturn. This time it wants us to reflect on our debts and make a reasonable effort to make things right. In the case of those that have long awaited relief from long illness or the pains of old age this can be a welcomed break.

Wednesday May 7 - Thursday May 8 - Mercury will change signs at 10:57 AM on the 7th, Wednesday. The final aspect being the Void of Course Moon mark would be at 11:17 AM Wednesday until 2:23 AM Thursday. And during the Void of Course Moon period there is a squabble between Venus and Saturn. This one brings a rather tough opinion; it also can dirty up the pallet and make it so that you cannot have that beautiful picture that you want. If you are redecorating do not choose any fabrics or do not choose any final selection with that Venus and Saturn aspect. Makes for tense relationships and uncomfortable social situations and any social errors are brought into the public and broadcast. And if you want to know what the bottom line is, what your compensation is. You may find that you have an extremely small tiny valuable compensation, and it could be like comp time instead of pay for your overtime that you put in. So you want to avoid harsh and insensitive statements to loved ones and that is at 12:03 PM on May 7th that is during a Void of Course Moon. Thursday Mercury is up to its tricks again with Jupiter 12:13 AM just after midnight and that one is really spreading stories again putting reports out there, premature reports and boasting about things that are just not ready or not true. There is a Moon sign change when the Moon goes into Virgo 2:24 AM and the Virgo Moon is probably the best one of the week. So we can count Thursday from 2:24 AM until 10:52 AM next Saturday - you have a Green Light for that entire time. So that’s Thursday and Friday, and some of Saturday.
But looking into the types of things that are going on for Thursday there are no major aspects. There is a 3:29 PM Moon quincunx Venus. This one may cause you to over spend or loose your purse or misplace something that is important to you because there is also a very foggy Moon opposite Neptune that goes on, on Thursday at 5:00 PM. So you have a lot of confusion, lots of lost articles during that time. You can check in with me, I’m kind of good at finding those things with a chart about the time that you call. So it is called horary.
Then for Friday May 9th we have Venus and Neptune making a minor aspect. This one could be mildly confusing and mildly romantic, and there could be thoughts about partnering or pairing with somebody, who is still in the dream state - so you have to actually meet them first. Mercury and Jupiter form a very powerful alignment. This may include some plans to go out and beyond your normal neighborhood where you might have mental skills and intellectual activity - very good for writing and teaching and anything that you would like to do about furthering your education. Information from great distances becomes important, so a lot of foreign news. The world is so small, it is hardly foreign any more, lots of things about travel, if you are trying to plan a trip that is a good one - so Friday good day to plan a trip, really good day. There is things all over that day that are very good for a change. But we may be feeling like it is heavy and it is not good because the Sun will be opposing Saturn, and until that aspect is exact next Saturday 2:28 PM, it may feel like we are stuck - but you are not stuck. For next few months Jupiter will travel through Cancer as Mars continues in Libra until July 16 & 25 respectively. With the lingering square of Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn, exact through to March 15, 2015, these four planets form a Grand Cardinal Cross in the high action signs which represent the corner stones/signs of life.

Aries holding the start-up, me first principal;
Cancer is the nest maker that focuses on family and security;
Libra takes a mate or partner;
Capricorn incorporates business/career to build a solid structure to stand the test of time. All of these signs are bound and determined toward success.
Add the monthly transit of the Moon through each of the corner signs and sparks will fly as the Grand Cross is sparked and awaked. Add to that the presence of the Sun in each of these sign and the stakes are higher. Higher to push forward, motivate and conquer anything. Some of the greatest strides will be made and accomplished over this next year.

The Moon brings the "order of the day" and there is no better sign for the Moon then its own sign of Cancer. The Cancer Moon is a nesting time but not reclining. There is a desire to retreat and protect one's vulnerable underbelly. The baby side of people surfaces and emotions are highly visible if you are at all able to get close enough as very often people are "crabby". This is a time to nurture and find a way to nurture your inner self. People stick to their clans and cliques being less likely to socialize with outsiders and seem to be comfortable with close family members. If you are fortunately positioned you may be invited inside or become privy to insider information. You are then considered a trusted and valued person in this clan. Address matters of saving and providing for necessities as these issues move to the forefront.
Food preparation and shared meals are more important. Matters of cash are related to family security, real estate and patriotism which are Cancer matters. Issues involving dependency or defensiveness are likely to arise with the Moon here. What people need to survive also takes precedence. Headlines are often more dramatic than usual. This is a great Moon for planting vegetables and the most fertile sign of the zodiac. This is the best time to plant fruits and vegetables and general planting. If you are a Cancer, matters might be more personal. Enjoy family dinners and nestle in with a loved one and people you might consider are insiders.

Good morning. Saturn is definitely applying its energy these days that is because the Sun is in Taurus and Saturn is in Scorpio and the Sun is headed right for it. So there is a whole lot of heaviness and it seems like everything is an uphill battle when there is a strong Saturn aspect going on. Saturn went retrograde on March 2nd at 23 degrees of Scorpio and there is going to be a Full Moon there on the 14th of May right there at 23 degrees of Scorpio highlighting that exact station so that is bring more Saturn. Saturn is the heavy foot, Saturn is the Boss the authority figures, the law, the kinds of things that you don’t want to be bothered with in your normal day. But it is also the debts that you pay, your responsibilities, feeling that you are responsible for something, or feeling like all of your Father issues are up and running little more than you would like. Feeling that you never could make your Father happy no matter what you did that sort of thing or you never could connect with your Father. Anything that would be about Father Issues are very strong when Saturn is very strong.
Other big deals that are going on there is a 1st Quarter Moon on Tuesday and it sets off a whole bunch of global world axis story lines. So there are things that are related back to a great big earthquake in Turkey back in - what was it 1998, 1999, somewhere back there . There is with all this Grand Cardinal Cross certainly geological events they are huge. But we have certainly been getting a lot of the personal more personal more society type of things with this Grand Cardinal Cross. So when the Moon is in the sign of Cancer or Libra, Capricorn, or Aries we get a lot of the Cardinal Cross. And we have a Cancer Moon this weekend. But the other thing I wanted to mention was that Mercury is very active from Monday through Thursday causing a lot of connections to feel like it is a Mercury retrograde, but it is not. So we have also another big deal is Venus is moving along in the sign of Aries and is headed for it’s opposition to Mars and that will be on the 11th of May so we are going to have a lot of things this week that feel like, are creating pressures and changes to our relationships because Saturn is involved as well. So there are sticky hard issues. I would say go through these issues and these matters very carefully. Don’t alienate one another unless that is your intention and you will have good luck with that by the time the Full Moon comes around. If you don’t want to alienate your partner handle everything with love. Love is always the answer that is what Marty always says.
So here what we have for this week, we have for today that Cancer Moon. The biggest thing that it is doing today is the Sun is trine Pluto . So a trine is a softer energy and this is when the Ukraine has asked to put the guns down for a couple of days to honor their dead for the great losses that they had this week, so they have two days of mourning. So that is a very powerful image for how the Sun and Pluto respond to one another in a big aspect, in a large aspect. Like this 120 degree trine. A trine is a soft aspect, but when you are dealing with a big heavy planet like Pluto. I know it is a small little planet and I know it is so small that they dwarfed it - but in astrology it is very big to us. So it does definitely show its nature. It is financial too, it is a lot of power and magnetism that is displayed, a lot of financial determination and things like trust, issues of trust are matters that are also out there in the open, powerful alignments come together to try to make a difference. You have a lot of physical stamina, and a lot of resilience, and also the sex drive is stronger with this aspect. You can find that this is a time to rest the cannons in your own life as well, and approach matters with a sense of trust and sharing. There is a good day to turn your financial issues over to an accountant. And you may feel like you have a little breathing room in your finances to ease that tight squeeze, and the tight squeeze really is going to show its face by next Saturday when the Sun is opposing Saturn.
And then the next thing during this Cancer Moon that takes place would be... Well, there is a couple of things that are setting off the Grand Cardinal Cross - that would be Moon square Mars 11:16 PM tonight. So if you are out on a date I would say be careful about being argumentative, It may just make them come back to bite you and also being overly defensive. Also 4:49 AM the Moon is opposite Pluto, some people are still up. And then we have at sunrise we have the Moon square Uranus tomorrow morning and then the Moon is conjunct Jupiter. So those are all the points on the Cardinal Cross that the Moon gets those things out of the way.
And the Moon in Cancer is about trying to keep your homestead safe and keep everyone close to you, closer to you. So that is very positive indication that the rest of Sunday should be nice visits with family, should be peaceful, you should have a really nice day and evening Sunday evening and with that matter.
Mercury starts its trek of setting everybody off, and so what that Mercury can be repeating stories that are not true, could be connecting with people from the other side, because it has no discrimination, my side your side that sort of thing - it is just spreading rumors and an aspect between Mercury and Mars is very early in the morning on Monday.
There is a final aspect of the Cancer Moon. The traditional one is 4:45 AM on Monday Moon sextile Mercury. The non-traditional one, would be the one I use, Moon split parallel Saturn at 9:23 AM on Monday. If you want to call that Void of Course you can until 1:55 PM, and then the Moon enters the sign of Leo. What the Leo Moon has to do before there is peace and happiness and better stories is catch up to the square to Saturn, and that doesn’t happen until Wednesday at 6:51 AM, and then we get a little break. But before that there is a very nice Sun sextile Jupiter and that is the Taurus Sun at 15 degrees of Taurus and Jupiter at 15 degrees of Cancer. You should be able to see Jupiter in the sky, even Mars in the sky. A lot of the planets: Mercury, Mars, Jupiter are visible this month in May.
What we have for Sun sextile Jupiter is an opening or an opportunity that you can potentially expect to have a little bit of good luck, a little bit of growth, you can find some wonderful energy. It is 5:53 AM, so get up early and do something physical, go for a run. It is very… has very broad base objectives with the Sun in a money sign. I would think there is money to be found and there is also some exaggerated opinions about projects or people that could be running around. But it is a very good boost during a tough time. Mercury goes on to have a squabble with Pluto which is not good. When you squabble with Pluto you do not get to leave the underground. So Mercury trying to check all of the facts, not for whether they are right or wrong, but just to bring them all to a person, who is in charge or behind the scenes is the one who actually is the real boss. There is on Tuesday the 1st Quarter Moon … that Sun sextile Jupiter is also Tuesday 5:54 AM, and then the 1st Quarter Moon is 11:15 PM. This will be a very high action Moon, so there would be the check is in the mail, or you get to pay something off, or you have your answer to a long waited question possibly one of money. Then also things about estates, and about things that have to do about insurance companies, human resources, and social security, all those sort of money management things.
Also on Wednesday we have the Leo Moon. It still not in very good shape because it has to finish its square to Saturn at 6:50 AM … that occurs and then we get a little bit of a break, we get a little lift. But wait until Mercury changes signs before moving forward with your goals.
