Hi, this is Dietrech Pessin with the astrology report for the week ahead, starting on May 7th, and going until May 14th.
We have a few things to talk about. It is not the busiest week. Some things are calming down, while other things are gearing up. We have a Lunar Eclipse on the way on the 16th, which is after next weekend. That will be on Monday the 16th. So, we have some things to catch up on. Either astrologically or in your own area of life that you want to finish things up. Because that finishing energy is with us all week long. Full Moons are about the end of matters and finishing things up. Lunar Eclipses are about the big deals, the big things. So, this is your chance to finish things up so that you can move forward.
We began this day with a Cancer Moon. The Cancer Moon changed to Leo early this morning at 7:49 AM. The Leo Moon will have to jump through a couple of hoops when it makes contact with Pluto and Jupiter on Monday night before the Moon leaves the sign of Leo. So that is a bit of a stretch if you are going to have some plans that involve others.
For this Leo Moon sign, one of the things is about Mother's Day tomorrow. So Happy Mother's Day to all those who care for others in any way. We are grateful for all of your loving efforts. Mother's Day with that Leo Moon does have the sign of appreciation on its side, which mothers love. That would be a great thing to show appreciation and display how you care.
Also, Leo Moon is with us all day on Sunday. There is something that Venus and Jupiter do. They show up to show that there is something to be proud of. Maybe it is a lovely new plant for the garden or a happy family gathering. It looks like fun. That is tomorrow morning. But it has an influence over the whole day. So, it is a nice way to start the day.
Then there is a First Quarter Moon that comes in at night 8:21 PM. The First Quarter Moon is in the sign of Leo. It looks to show off, but there is plenty more to do before the story ends. So, if there is something that you are trying to display or present, you may have to do a lot more before you can get your goals involved in a forward-moving process. You must do something more first. It might involve money. Because the Sun is in Taurus. The Moon is in Leo. So, if you want to make a big show of things, it is going to cost some more money.
So, this grant effort that you are interested in is also showing up on Monday morning. The Moon is opposite Saturn. This puts forward a long list that not only Moon opposite Saturn shows, a heavy workload, But in the end, it will speak to both Pluto and Jupiter before leaving the sign of Leo.
So, the aspect of Moon-Pluto will be 4:08 PM Monday. Then to Jupiter, it is 6:29 PM. Both of those are quincunx. That is what I call life's messy clean it up.
Then there is a void of course Moon Monday evening 6:29 PM until 6:53 PM When the Moon enters the sign of Virgo. Then the Virgo Moon is with us until Thursday at 2:34 AM. This one is kind of tough too. It has some things that it is also worried about. How to manage its workload. So, seeing how it too has its work cut out for it, you want to leave plenty of room to attend/tend to anything that pops up.
The final aspect of the Virgo Moon is trine Pluto, which gives the thumbs up for all your hard work. However, there is a Mercury retrograde on Tuesday. And this is May 10th. It happens at 7:47 AM and will go until June 3rd.
So, Mercury Retrograde has a very big job ahead of itself. Because Jupiter is taking the show all to himself, as he enters the sign of Aries for a dramatic boost of energy and drive. However, seeing how that Mercury is retrograde early in the morning, this is some grand scheme of things that may need to be scaled back. Since reversals are famous when Mercury turns back around again. Even as you enter into things with that Mercury Retrograde, you may find that they stop on a dime before you get to do anything that you are trying to put forward in your goals.
Then, what you might consider is what happened 12 years ago. If it is an entrepreneurial idea that you had back then, maybe you could rework those plans and see if you can get something going. Or get that cleaned up for some future endeavor. Once again. Look back to the spring of 2010. This is when Jupiter went into Aries the last time.
Do you remember the Deepwater Horizon oil spill? That happened in the spring of 2010. That is when Jupiter was ready to leave Pisces and go into Aries. It was the largest marine oil spill in history. We hope that does not repeat itself or anything like it. The United Nations during that time did an airlift of baby gorillas from the Democratic Republic of Congo where the militia logged. Their log and mining efforts were encroaching on the habitat of the gorillas. It is feared that they would be extinct by the mid-2020s. So here we are coming up on that. We should check in with those gorillas to see how are they doing.
Then on Tuesday, at the end of the day and that Virgo Moon, you are probably going to be exhausted.
Wednesday, the Virgo Moon is still with us. So, you have a lot of thoughts about what there is to do on that day. The Moon will oppose Mars in the morning at 8:17 AM. This may start some type of argument on Wednesday. At least what you might consider is that maybe you are ready to run out the door and something pulls you away, pulls you back. But remember to turn off the stove and manage any of the electrical things that you want to mind before you leave as well. The Virgo Moon says, there is always a job to do. There is always another job to do. But what you get is some cooperation. People like to help other people during a Virgo Moon. So, you may feel like helping others. And you can find that your efforts are reciprocated.
Later on, Jupiter and Uranus have an aspect at 4:52 PM. It is a sesquisquare, semi-square. It is a semi-square 45 degrees apart.
Well with Jupiter at 0° of Aries This could be largely about money or largely about tradition. It could be about upsetting tradition in some way. It also might be something about education. It might be something about travel. It could be something about an investment that you would like to make. So be interesting to see what you have in store for this aspect between Jupiter and Uranus, for late afternoon on Wednesday. I am sure things will be buzzing in the office about how to make some financial plans work.
For Thursday, the Virgo Moon is void of course. Actually, right around midnight. The night before Wednesday night it goes void of course when it is trine Pluto. It is not going to change that until 2:34 AM when the Moon enters Libra.
The last thing that the Moon does at the end of the sign is square Pluto, while the Moon is in Libra. So that means the whole sign of Libra is complicated with the types of things that Pluto, who is all about money and all about control, wants to make you do. A song and dance before you can get paid or before you can move forward with what you want to do. That is either at home or in the office.
There is an aspect that Mercury chimes in. Retrograde Mercury is in a split parallel with Pluto. This is Thursday, May 12th. A Happy Birthday to my friend, Carole.
What we can expect with Mercury-Pluto is to have some talks of deep talks in regard to the status of the finances. Where do you want to go? How do you want to do things over the next several weeks, while Mercury is retrograde?
There tend to be long-distance calls that you want to put up about. Something that matters quite a bit regarding property or sibling division. So, property. That could be about the status of a will, something like that.
Mercury and Neptune are in an aspect where Venus sees that its money is wasted. While the social indicators are not the best at this time, either. So, people want to do things socially. they are finding that the social settings, well maybe it is because covid is on the rise. It is not safe to go back out there. Again, we are really quite tired of all of these mask mandates but we have to take care of ourselves. Nonetheless, you may find you are going to events and finding out that several people are sitting in the room with covid. And that is a scary thought.
There is a quincunx on Friday between the Sun and the Moon. That is a signal that there is a Full Moon coming. This Full Moon it is talking about is a big one. It will be the Lunar Eclipse at 25° of Scorpio that comes up. That is what that signal is at 6:59 PM. So, something happens that you have to stop everything and tend to a matter. Like someone shoots an arrow through your window and you must stop everything to clean up the mess. You need to attend to the things. Like not just the dishes, after dinner, there could be something else that is pressing in an unexpected manner.
Friday night. It is not a good night for high expectations in social settings. People are disagreeable and display unpleasant behaviors with that Libra Moon that will square Pluto before it leaves the sign next Saturday. That square is at 4:07 AM next Saturday.
Then the New Moon sign of Scorpio comes in at 6:33 AM next Saturday, which is a much better business Moon sign during these days when Pluto is the planet last in a sign to receive the Moon’s aspect.
