Hi, this is Dietrech Pessin with the astrology report for the week ahead. It is May 21, 2022. We are going to look at the planets throughout the week until May 28th.
I want to say Happy Birthday to my sweet Sweet Pea. That is our little parrot, who is 23 years old today. Also, my friend Deb Theodore has a birthday tomorrow.
So, we are going to see a lot of changes going on in all the people around us. There are so many planet changes that have been going on, and are going to go on this week. For instance, Jupiter changed signs last Tuesday. That is the same day that Mercury went retrograde. Then this week, we are going to have the changes continue.
We had the Sun going into the sign of Gemini last night at 9:23 PM. It will be there until June 21st when it goes into Cancer. Mercury backs up. Goes back into Taurus at 9:15 PM Sunday, tomorrow night on the 22nd. Mars will enter the sign of Aries. Oh boy, am I anxious to see what that is going to feel like. I think it is going to be a really good thing. Because Mars in Pisces was very heavy. Stirred up a lot of old stuff. Caused a lot of psychological difficult problems. Old demons surfaced. Hard to get those back in the box. So, this is going to be a good change.
7:17 PM on Tuesday night, Mars enters Aries. Then we will have Venus entering Taurus, her own home court. That will be next Saturday at 10:46 AM. If you want to plan ahead for that happy thing, as well.
So, the Quarter Moon that we have today. that Quarter Moon. Where is that Quarter Moon? Is actually tomorrow on Sunday at 2:43 PM. t takes place at 1° of Pisces. It is the Last Quarter Moon. So, you are actively involved in the process of letting go of something from the past, for one thing. Then another thing is that you might run into people from the past. You could run into an old love. You could run into one who is not such a love. You could also be battling old problems.
Again, this is a Pisces Moon. Really does dig into some of those old sad stories as well. So, you want to be able to have a good plan. A box of tissues. A good friend. Give a phone call. You will also see where you might be able to get some closure on these old matters as well.
The Pisces energy can be sad, and melancholy. But it also is a time to pick up the pieces to a two and a quarter year puzzle. It is an additional related date that is going to be able to make connections from a Solar Eclipse that we had in August of 2017. Remember when we were all looking up into the sky, we saw that Eclipse? Well, this is the last little piece of that from back at that time. That will be an interesting little link to the things that occurred back then. That was seeded back at that time.
If you go further back, I found a Full Moon Eclipse, a Lunar Eclipse in February of 2008. Where there were more clues to this little Quarter Moon, which is a hot item, being related to a Lunar Eclipse in ‘08. Jupiter was also stuck at this spot when it went retrograde last June in 2021. So, it is a hot item. Quarter Moons are hot items. Something happens on the day always. Full Moons and New Moons, it is kind of a swelling of a time, where you have a couple of days before and a couple of days after. [Quarter Moons] this is right on the day. So, look forward to something interesting that could come up. A little opportunity to heal some of those old pains and pangs. That is tomorrow at 5:54 PM Mercury making a little aspect to Chiron. I didn't mention the time on that Quarter Moon 2:42 PM.
Just want to back up a little bit and check to see what I might have missed with this Aquarius Moon sign. Sorry, it came in last on Friday night. It is perfect for a good birdie birthday party. We are going to celebrate Sweet Pea’s birthday.
The Sun is now in Gemini. The Gemini Sun is more friendly than the Taurus Sun sign because it doesn't have to deal with a square from Saturn or the aggravations from Uranus. The Eclipses also brought a lot of intensity this spring. So, they are now behind us as well.
You might discover your arthritis is less painful this week, coming up into this week. Something may have shifted with that back pain as well. That is because we are pulling away from the Taurus Sun sign and getting away from that square from Saturn. Now that the Gemini Sun is sorting through the Mercury retrograde cycle, it’s midway today on Saturday the 21st at 3:17 PM. That retrograde period will be completed on June 3rd. that conjunction could be something about a major statement that is being made. Maybe you are changing your mind about something. Maybe you are deciding about something. This is at 0° of Gemini. So, whatever it is you decide, you sure are telling everybody what it is all about.
Then what we can see Sunday at 9:15 PM. You may want to find you are reviewing your money matters because Mercury goes back into Taurus. It is a nice time to invite family for a barbecue or a feast. Plant beautiful flowers and shrubs.
It is also a Green Light today, Saturday the 21st, all day. You may want to schedule or reschedule something again. As the Sun and Mercury when they join like this, they tend to want to go back to the same old place they have been before. Take a trip with a friend. Visit a sibling, that sort of thing.
Then we still have that Aquarius Moon sign overnight into Sunday. It does go void a course at 3:18 AM. That is when the Moon is conjunct Saturn.
We are back with the Pisces Moon that is going to be around for a couple of days. This is a really good Pisces Moon. Starts at 11:49 AM on Sunday morning and it goes until 5:39 PM On Tuesday.
There is a Green Light that comes after the Last Quarter Moon. That would happen at 2:42 PM. There is a Green Light for what how you want to forward your goals. That Last Quarter Moon, bring someone from your past back into the picture. It may not mean they are here to stay, but it could bring some closure to an old matter. Also, the Pisces energy can be sad and melancholy. Look back over the past two and a quarter years for more pieces to this puzzle. An additional related date is the Solar Eclipse in August of 2017 is related. If you want to go back further, it is February of 2008 for more clues about what this is about, and who is this related to. We also have a clue from Jupiter, who was stuck at this spot last year, June 2021.
There is an aspect still on Sunday. This would be between Mars and Pluto. It is at 6:15 PM. It is a big boost of motivation. You can see it as a boost to your exercise program or your spiritual program. There is an urge to change things in a big way to eliminate waste, purify, and detox. Here is a thought. That maybe it bring efforts to unite, transform and share power and territory. Intense cleaning comes with this aspect. Sexual interests are also high on the list with this aspect as well. You could be convinced of something or trying to convince another of something, Also with Mars sextile Pluto.
Mars and Pisces are very late in the sign. And Pluto is very late in the sign. Pluto is retrograde. Very high energy output.
Now Mercury is about to change signs on Sunday at 9:14 PM. So, if you want to drop something, you could do it just before that happens at 9:14 PM. Anytime during the day on Sunday Actually. If you wish to drop all or part of your project. If you do not. If you want it to take it into the future, take action after 9:14 PM when Mercury backs up into Taurus and is there for a couple of weeks in there as well.
There is a Green Light all day Monday, with a special bonus at 7:04 AM. The Sun and Jupiter are sextile. It will bring a happy feeling to this Pisces Moon. We will probably feel that Sunday night as well. That boost will be a welcome sign during this usually kind of heavy sad melancholy Pisces Moon. Does not always have to be that way. You can just do something very kind of internal and quiet. Maybe musical. Write some poetry. Write that book that you have been working on.
You may also find that there is a little bit of Venus and Chiron aspect looking for the comfort of a loved one, who may not be close by at this time. But that person may find a way to let you know they are thinking of you too.
Mercury and Mars. They are 60° apart. This is a lot of talk, lively discussions, and fast writing. Open discussions with the opportunity to develop a lot of projects or ideas. This is a really good aspect. It is late night on Monday night, which could influence Tuesday as well. But there are a lot of things that you would need to consider about how you would move forward with something that needs to be reworked a lot before you can move forward with it. Meetings with technically skilled, fast thinkers are typical with this aspect as well.
Then there is a Green Light on Tuesday. This is all day Tuesday until 5:33 PM. Then there is a little break because the Pisces Moon will end.
The Aries Moon comes in at 5:39 PM. It sees another terrific batch of opportunities with Green Lights in there as well.
There are tons of Green Lights this week. Lots of opportunity aspects. Those 60° aspects are sextiles. They are opportunities that you need to take action on. You cannot just have somebody come by and say, oh, there is a great deal over there and you go. Uh-ha. And then the next day you say, Oh, I missed that because I didn't jump on it. You have to jump on it. Mars is at the 29th degree of Pisces when the Moon changes signs and goes into Aries. That means that can wreak havoc until it changes signs at 7:17 PM. If you have been feeling all of your old demons are acting up these past few weeks, this is why. Mars has been in the sign of Pisces. It really does cause a problem with your memories and your old habits and the things that are haunting you. So, you will be pleased to know the culprit for this leaves the building at 7:17 PM, when Mars enters Aries until July 5, 2022. I'm really looking forward to that. That is going to be a good thing.
So, then you have a strong drive to initiate activities. You are spontaneous, and you like to take risks when Mars is in Aries. You may also experience a burst of rash and accident-prone streaks. So, you want to be especially careful when Mars is in the sign of Aries. It can also be aggressive. Especially if your plans or desires are thwarted. So, we do not want any people losing their heads over what they think they should have. Just sit with it, I guess. Do what you can to take whatever positive action without hurting others.
Mars is in an aspect with Pallas Athena early in the morning on Wednesday. So, this is that great team that joined together the best minds for the very best plan ahead. Maybe you are looking for a doctor or a lawyer or any consultant. You can find that this is an aspect that will take you to the right place. They will lead you into the best line of action for what it is that you are trying to do.
That retrograde Mercury is in a similar situation. But Mercury is trine Pluto. This would be on Wednesday at 5:48 PM. It governs the things that happen all day on Wednesday. It brings a day of reclaimed regrets. That is because both of those planets are retrograde. They are great for processing old stuff. Do not be hard on yourself. Pluto does this to everyone. The goal here is to process these haunting memories with some ownership skills that help you to release these old issues. Many of which could be financial. So maybe you can pay your way out of some of these problems.
Then on Thursday, that Aries Moon is a Green Light until 11:49 PM. Pallas and Juno are a great team as well to sort through a whole list of advisors to help you find the best for what it is you need.
Then Mercury is semi-sextile Venus. So, this is when Mercury might be kind of picking on Venus about her spending habits. She is not pleased about that at all. But try not to take it personally. Mercury is a little bit chatty. Especially when retrograde. It can be going back into things that are kind of old issues.
The Moon and Venus joined together for a quick return for her efforts. Probably expressed through shopping.
Then Moon square Pluto. We are talking Thursday night at 11:20 PM. This is the controlling side of Pluto. And this is where Venus puts Pluto in his place. That would be working out in a better way for what it is that Venus needs. What comes to mind is the women's soccer team getting equal pay. They said, don’t mess with that.
So, then the Moon enters Taurus. There is a little Void of Course Moon with that Aries Moon from 11:49 PM until 2:22 AM when the Moon enters Taurus. Then there is another Green Light throughout that Taurus Moon after Venus enters Taurus on Saturday. That is next Saturday at 10:45 AM. That is when the Green Light is really good during that Taurus Moon at the end of the week.
There is Venus square Pluto again. There is that problem where Venus is being told what to do by Pluto. Pluto is very controlling. But Venus knows how to stand up for herself in Aries. So, do not worry about it. She wants to spend her money and wear what she wants, whenever she wants.
The Taurus Moon is a good Moon. It is a good Moon sign for good food, and nice company. You will be happy to say good night to a long day of socializing.
And that all the Green Lights during the Mercury Retrograde. I have noticed that this happens time and time again, the best periods for getting things done are during Mercury Retrograde. Typical of redo renew, review, restart, retrace retract. Do what you can to make the best of it and try to be happy. It will last only until June 3rd. But do not miss the opportunities now to have some of the greater things take place for you during this Mercury Retrograde period. Alright, that is it for the week.
